Howdy Folks, I wanted to stop by and update everybody on the workings of MrScott. I see that the Trainz section is gone so I posted here.

This project was almost dead but I've revived it and it's been going strong ever since.

looks nice :)

speaking of trainz, i just purchased the digital download for trainz 12 this morning, downloading as we speak....
which version are you using for this?

I always found putting in the overhead wires as massive pain when trying to make electric routes in trainz.... could never get it to look right haha

cool :)

Well ive been mostly playing Railworks prior to yesterday, but playing Trainz12, I'm not sure if its just cause I havent played it in so long, but it felt to me like the train physics and what not (realism feeling) have been improved a bit in 12, but then again, might just have been me haha

Howdy again! I thought I give an update on my yearly stop-by :-D
I'm still plugging away on the Laurel Line Project. I've now updated from TS2009 to TS2012. Here is the link to my picture page... http://home.comcast.net/~lwvrr/screens.html
More pictures will be added in a few weeks.

Any new and interesting train games/sims out there?

Hey MrScott,

Some pretty amazing screenshots there from what I saw. Makes me want to go and work on my own trainz route some more.

Just an FYI in case you arent aware, when I click on the 'Layout' button, which takes me to http://home.comcast.net/~lwvrr/index.html, the white textbox thing is playing up a bit, in that the white box isnt big enough to hold all the text, as seen in the screenshot below. (The text is visible if i highlight the page however).

I am viewing it in Google Chrome.
Cheers.

The Layout page looks fine for me in Firefox, Opera, and IE8.
However the History page is a different story.

None of the stuff in the left nav bar fits like it should in any page. ;-)

Thanks for the heads up. :-) I think it's a Comcast issue. For some reason the page won't even load for me at this time.

I also have the Laurel Line Project facebook page that has some interesting tidbits. I believe I have it set up so that anybody can access the page and post.

Me either. It worked fine a little while ago though, but now it won't load at all.

The project has taken a great "slowdown" since I went back into Blender to make some needed buildings for the layout...I couldn't get any other Trainz creators to help me. Anyhow this is what I've been working on, it the Scranton Lackawanna Station.
