Muck just mailed me German versions of the 1.06 README and the installer.txt file. He doesn't have access to this forum yet, so he couldn't see Hobo's notes. My bad.
Hobo, JayEff, what are your thoughts on the names of the files? I forgot to include them in the translation list, but they'll show up in the RT3 Start menu.
English:
- 1.06 Patch Readme
- Locomotive Chart
- Locomotive Readme

Oh. I thought we would have to name the menu entries something like "Lokstabelle" or "Locomotive Lesez-Moi". It's not a problem to leave them in English?

When you were working on the 1.06 Readme, did you translate the Operators appendix? Muck gave up and referred readers to the English version. I can see why.

I think is not necessary. The most mapcreators I know can read english and have the know-how to make map. This people understanding the appendix easilier as an RT3-only-player.

hey, I didn't really give up, Milo.
That stuff is simply beyond any language except programmish :D
I think if somebody is clever enough to mess with variable arithmetics, he can be expected to handle the english version.
Anyway, I delivered a german version of the readme and the installer, and I thank you, Hobo, for doing the Loco files.
do we need a latin readme, too ?

Thanks for your work, Muck and Hobo. We now have a complete set of the German documentation added to the installer and ready to go. The incoming bug reports are slowing down, too; it may be time for a public beta soon.
