1. While Camelbacks are designed by Wooten in 1877 to burn culm (anthracite waste) which it was plentiful and (by then) has no commercial value. (i.e. cheap fuel). Ross Winans claimed that he is the first to introduce Camelback designs for B&O (and fireman still has no protections) sometimes in 1869. What is the purpose of Winans designs? Winans "camel" doesn't designed to use an oversized firebox (which Wooten invented later) nor designed to burn culm. Of course! any steam locomotives built for east coasts are likely to be built as coal-fired, and Appalachia is a coal-rich region y'know.
So if Winans didn't intent to use cheap anthracite wastes. he has another reasons to design a 'camel'. so what is it?
2. What is the first Wooten calemback? wheel arrangements please? is it a big hit 4-4-0 "American Hybrids"?
3. Does Wooten cares of fireman working conditions too? Why isn't there any proper housing for fireman station? ok this ain't no problem for tank locomotive but it is a big problem for tender locomotive. dunno if there's any possibility to make a better fireman station than leave him exposed to weather and easy accidents.
sorry I haven't been anywhere in America so i've never see anthracite wastes before.
4. In RT3. From which manufacturer did Poptop takes a camelback designs from? it is 0-6-0, has a small-radious powering wheels, and looks MUCH more like industrial switcher rather than being an a mainline locomotive (Real life camelbacks are for revenue services!). its attributes changed every patches player installed it.
- In original RT3 (and in RT2). Camelbacks are climbers!
- In RT3 1.5 patch. Camelbacks instead become NJ Flyers! Not a mountain king anymore!
4.1 How well can any camelbacks climb a high grade tracks? a REAL LIFE camelbacks.
4.2 How good can camelbacks be a freighter
4.3 Is there any camelbacks being exported overseas? in RT3. Camelback is also "World" locomotive as well as it is for North America. but I don't see any records of Camelbacks being used elsewhere in the world.
