I don't know how this happened, but figured i post this here and see if anyone else had this issue.

When i edit a map, I can not add effects. When i go into the effects editor, there is an empty drop down box that i can not add a value in to say add 20% to price of weapons. Has anyone else encounter this issue before?


I am running Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit, with a GTX690 on intel CPU.

... and there are really no buttons "Add Effect", "Remove Effect" and "Edit Effect"? like in

A screenshot would be extremely helpful.

I'm not clear on what the problem is. In the event editor, you should see the 'event list' as shown below, from Age of Steam: At the bottom of the event list are several command buttons, one of which is 'New Event' which will add a new event
Are the buttons not visible on your screen? Or is there a different problem?

hhhhmmmm....seems the fourth re-install worked. the dialog box below was what i was refering to. the mathmatical signs were scrambled accross the box and the textbox, which to enter values, was no were to be seen. i thought it had something to do with the screen resolution, but no avail.
