What do the differently colored stations mean? Some are dull white, some are bright white, and some are dull red and bright red.

Cleveland is dark while Akron and Toledo are bright.

Different architectural style? Station "looks" are dictated by the architectural style designated in the Editor for the city/territory.

My best guess at this moment is a lit station has freight which has a destination, as opposed to a station where there's no where to pull anythhing.

I'm pretty sure it's just based on architecture style. The Victorian Style is see-through for some reason.

I always thought it was you home station or the first station you build. What that has to do with the game?..I have no idea. **!!!**

I think we have a winner, Wolverine and ProudCanadian!!

I continued playing the game and got more differently colored stations. Every station with the same color in the station list has the same architectual style.

Thank you for clearning that up.
