Deutsch Trainmaster

This zip file converts Trainmaster to German. The translation is courtesty of El Moichi and Frank.

The translation of Trainmaster into German remains a work in progress, however, the files included here will translate 90% into German.

English version
To install the German version, you need a fully installed RT3 patched to Coast to Coast and 105, then a fully installed Trainmaster.

Next, unzip the files to their respective folders, overwriting files.

This will make some cargo appear in German, all of the industry, and almost all the menus.

Currently the readme is getting translated, so there isn't one for this zip file yet...what is written above is it for now.

Campaign Maps preview

Here are two maps that will be released as campaign files once everything is complete. The zip file contains two maps.

CA01 Birth of a Nation - I think I fixed all the bugs, but it's been so long since I last worked on it that I am not sure. It still needs to be painted, and then I still have to make the video and other campaign files. This map can be played by clicking on the first campaign scenario.

Note....Monkey Motors is included with the Campaign Files 1-1.zip and the 3 part Campaign Files.

CA05 - Monkey Motors - another from Edbangor, this is the fifth campaign map. I just need to finish the videos.

Indeed it has...I actually feel kinda weird now that it is finished. Granted, I still have lots to do with the campaign files, but as for the design and development of TM, it's all done. It only took 18 months too. While it isn't perfect, I am satisfied that it is a good game, and any flaws are so minor that they don't detract from the game.

In the second message above, I just posted 2 zip files with the custom paks for Persian Electric.

download/file.php?id=1245 (locos, cars, buildings, etc)

download/file.php?id=1246 (Persian Sounds)

There is some file movement required in order to use the Custom Paks, so it is important to read the instructions. Initially I though we could just put the files in the UserExtraContent folder, but it will only read loose files, not pk4 files, which will be prone to losing parts, so instead you have to move everything in the 2D (except Trainmaster.pk4) and 3D folders to the PoptopExtra Content Folder, then put the custom paks in the 3D folder when in use.

I'm anxious to see what the new custom paks look like. Only a week before I can get back to playing TM again. !**yaaa

It also contains a Fruit reefer since the likelyhood of Solid Gold reefers traveling in Iran is low. These are replaced with Persian Star reefers with palm trees on the side, and something in a language I have no idea what it says.


I always wondered why they all said "Solid Gold" even though they weren't carrying gold. So I had to google and read about the history of the Solid Gold/Solid Cold reefers. http://www.flickr.com/photos/loadstone/3261796345/

I haven't tried the sounds yet, but when I took a quick look at the custom pak they seemed to work fine.

Is it possible to split the download of the Campains into multiple parts to make it not so big? My download seems to keep crashing round 160-170MB
