It doesn't look that good.

My text over laps the lines. This scrambles the letters. This also makes the page shorter.
I also don't get the "post reply" box and the other boxes next to it, until I do a refresh.

I may have IE 7 or 6 installed on this ME machine. If I remember correctly IE 8 had problems running on ME. So I installed what I had in my supplus programs folder.
I'm In the middle of rebuilding the XP machine.

But, today I'm enjoying the Sun.

I only saw it happen one time in Firefox, but it seems a fairly common issue in IE.

color change.

When I first open the forum, the page is mostly tan.

When I hit refresh, the page turns mostly blue.

Hope that helps.

Nope! Never seen that. The only oddity I've seen is the one I posted the screen-shot of.

I'm using IE8 and everything seems to be ok. Yes - it's a little bit "blue", but the main menu is - from my point of view - better than before.

FYI. I'm now only getting the overlapping of text when I use the back button.
A refresh is needed each time to clean it up.

I'm getting ready to retire this old machine. My new HP montor and Kodak printer won't let me work with it.

{,0,} for you efforts to keep this site open.

As the dust settles on your new layout Hawk, remember on the old one I asked for a View New Posts at the bottom as it's a pain scrolling all the way back up. That's the way I do it after reading.

Will this layout allow you to put one there too?

@Rat You don't have to scroll all the way to the top, just hit your Home key. The End key will take you to the bottom.
Although I do agree. I, too, like that button at the bottom of each page.

Oh yea! I forgot to look into that mod. I've been pretty busy working on the web site lately. It's gettin' there. Still have the Photos section and the RT2 & 3 archives sections.
Let me play a little Juice Train and if I remember  I'll check it out.

I need a break from web site stuff for a bit. *!*!*!
