Too much for my old eyes. I see it, but have to look for it.

Oops. Gotta agree with Rat about this one. I like the darker header but not the lighter body. I also like 'our stuff' over on the left, btw. !*th_dwn*!

I might be able to fix that. ;-)

I just did that for testing. I'm trying to get a background image going on. So far I guess I haven't found the right place to change that, or I've got the image in the wrong place. *!*!*!

I'm doin the probrown and it really helps my eyes which are very light sensitive. The text and other details are crisp and easily seen. I will try out some of the others just for fun as well. Things are really coming along Mr. Hawk. :!:

You know what I really miss about the old Train-Sim forum? It was the ability to mark groups of new posts as read, but leave others unmarked if you want. The way it, this, and all other forums do, if you call up new posts and don't get to them that session because you are called away, you can only hope someone posts to the same topic again and you get to it in the future.

If this and other forums has a setting to do such, would sure like to know how.

Edit: Maybe I answered my own question. Is that what "View unanswered posts" does, take me to ALL posts I have not read, regardless of how many times I pull up the list?

Good comment and question Rat. Let me look into that and see what I can come up with. There may be a mod I can add to do what you're talking about, or maybe it's already here and we just don't know it yet. **!!!**

View Unanswered Posts only takes you to all the posts with no replies, whether you have read them or not.

On another car board I am on, it only resets the new posts when you actually click on and go into the thread. I did some research and found out they use this forum software:

I checked out SMF before I installed phpBB and there was some stuff I didn't like about it, although I can't remember what now.
Since I always read all new posts when I'm on, does this version not remember posts that you haven't read?
Does it automatically mark all post read when you leave, even if you didn't read them?

I'll have to check that out next time there's new posts.

Edit 1: I found a mod that is being written for this feature but it's currently still in it's beta stages.
I'll keep my eye on it.

I just did a test and found something out.
If you don't use the 'View New Posts' option; instead just click on the thread with new posts, and you only visit one thread with new posts and not others, then if you leave the forum and come back the others are still highlighted.

If you do use the 'View New Posts' it automatically assumes you have read all new posts.
