Re: Help with graphics problem please

Thanks for replying. I just checked my installed RAM is 8. I do suspect it is a game problem, and not my card. I still play the game regardless of the graphics problem. It just would be nice if it looked good too. Finally I upgrade my computer to one that isn't a bogged down slow POS, and run into c...

Help with graphics problem please

I have an Ati radeon hd 4200. When I'm playing RRT3 It starts out displaying high resolution graphics, and looks really good (or as good as it gets for an older game) But after a minute or so it goes to very low details and pixelated. I also run windows 7 home edition. Other games work fine, it just...

Just felt like sharing. Who doesn't like train pics? This is from a few years back this was a special excursion to White rock BC during the Vancouver Olympics. It went from downtown Vancouver to White rock the 1st day and then white rock back to Pacific Central station. I rode on it the first day an...

Re: need help with a crash please

Do you have show all hidden files on as well besides being an administrator? I've never made a logo so I don't know how it works but there's a possibility the file is there but hidden and you can't see it unless you have the option to see hidden files turned on in windows. Had 0 problems with compa...

Re: England war effort (beta)

I can't say I know a lot about British history, or what towns are important. So if I left some out it's probably because I'm using inaccurate maps, or I just didn't know about it. I will add those towns, thanks for the heads up. I'll look into accurately placing them more too. As for the cotton I'm ...

Re: England war effort (beta)

Hah, yeah I guess I'm a little too used to using having spellchecker. Man do I need spellchecker, probably should wear my glasses too  I think it is obvious how well I did in grammar.... I'm also mildly dyslexic.... Excuses, excuses, I know. I do appreciate you corrections though. Hmmm I...

England war effort (beta)

I messed up the scale a bit, and tooks some artistic license.I tried to make the map and industries acurate using this map --> http://www.flickr.com/photos/boston_public_library/3531527882/ But I had to "balance" things out a bit. I also used a population density map for reference on makin...

In case you don't know you can make multiple events all show up in the ledger at the same time.

Re: Building a bigger, England map (WW1+2) need ideas + help

I figured out how to write the status ... sort of...... the problem is; I want to do a LTD loads of ( X) to territory . But there is no option to say what the territory is (once you make it a status in the ledger) so When I test ran the scenario, it did not register any loads. So it looks like this;...

BBC's Great british Railway journey series 2

I just watched the whole series, which you can find on EZTV if anyone is interested. It is a really good series. The premise of the show is the host is going around with an original copy of Bradshaws guide to England, and seeing how much is still relevant. It really makes me want to go to England......

I totally appreciate your help..... but you'll have to dumb it down more    Seriously. I'm very lost. A lot of what your saying is going right over my head  ........ I hope I'm not being too annoying. I appreciate your patience. Game variable 1 is always bronze victory? .... 2...

Re: Building a bigger, England map (WW1+2) need ideas + help

I'm looking right at the bronze/silver/gold medal events for an already existing scenario.... and I still don't understand it. I don't get how they work or how to set the game variables Take for example South East USA; For bronze win you need 100 loads of cotton. For Silver you need 50 timber. When ...

Re: Building a bigger, England map (WW1+2) need ideas + help

Cool thanks for some ideas. I'm finding it difficult to find a balance. I did a test run and all my cities were way too large. Industries wouldn't generate where I seeded them.... blah blah blah. I suppose the other option is to physically place things and, then seed for growth later. I still find i...

Yeah I just figured out the earthquake does no damage whatsoever.....??? why is it even there? It would be nice if it worked like Simcity's earthquake and did random damage. But I digress..... I will try out creating bombing zones, (sporatic small territories, to destroy track and stuff in the zone)...
