Re: Did you give your childern an odd or funny name?

The only thing I wonder about all this is, What are these parents thinking?! Who in their right mind would name their child Number 16 Bus Shelter? Then again, what court allowed that name to be passed? As the article says, children with those kind of names would be confined to a life of social humil...

67 Things to do at Wal*Mart

Hello everyone, I've been kind of quiet on the forums lately, but I found this on Uncylopedia, a massive site that parodies Wikipedia. The following comes from their Wal-Mart article. Enjoy! 67 things to do at Wal-mart 1.Count how many abnormalities each door greeter has and calculate the average fo...

Atlantis Map???

Okay, I've heard this map mentioned a few times over the time I've been a member here at this forum. However, it seems that, like the lost continent itself, it's almost disappeared from the community, and is only mentioned every so often. I'm sure there was a topic about this at the old forum before...

Re: New Scenario Available - WP&P

I just downloaded this the other day from your site, WP&P, and I really enjoyed it. I really enjoyed trying to survey the routes, and find the right path to put my rails through (hardest part was extending to Winchester after I extended to the B&O Junction and gained independance). I ended u...

Re: Hi everyone!

Greetings from Canada! (*!!wel This site is great for everything Railroad Tycoon, wether it be map making, scenario strategies, and much more. I too used to play RRT2, but I now mainly stick to RRT3. RRT2 is still an excellent game in my book though. !*th_up*! Once again, welcome aboard, and enjoy! ...

Re: Weather Report

Up here, we've had an unusually cold May. We've had a lot of rain, and one day they even called for snow! !*00*! Luckily this didn't happen. Temperatures haven't exceeded 15 degrees Celsius all month. (That's 59 Fahrenheit to you folks south of the border) Typically we get at least one week above 20...

Re: Reviews of Building to the Great West

This was a really fun and informative scenario. :-D I played with the fictional terminus, and I ended up having to connect to Sioux City. I had already established a line to Council Bluffs, so it wasn't all that hard to connect to. Unfortunately, I failed to haul enough cargo to Sioux City before 18...

Re: New map for rrt3: RAVONIA

Played this a couple of days ago. I enjoyed it, especially the whole limited track thing, as I could have expanded much more quickly without its implementation. Truly a challenge to build those massive cross-island lines. Unfortunately, I was ousted from the game in 1905 even though I had connected ...

Just finished this one, and Wsherrick, my hat is off to you. {,0,} This was a great scenario overall, even though I only got the bronze. Come to think of it, this is the first Age of Steam Scenario in which I won any medal on the first try! ^**lylgh Once again, great job, and thanks for these five g...

Re: Deutschlong scenario

I personally liked this scenario, although I played it quite a while ago. The map was nice, and the goals were challenging. I think I only got one or two of the quiz questions right, and I think I got either a bonus in passenger traffic, or a cash prize, I can't remember Exactly. The only thing I di...

I've seen a couple pictures of the Triplex in a book I have called 'The Heritage of North American Trains'. Let me just say that they're amazing! These things were HUGE!!!! !*00*! There's actually a third set of cylinders underneath the cab with the wheels stretching back underneath the tender! Acco...

Bombar, Wp&P didn't miss the crowns, they're very faint, but they're still there.

Looks good WP&P, I always thought the original Royal Hudson looked nothing like what they looked like historically. Great Job!! :-D

Disused Stations in the UK

This is a really interesting site I found about a year ago. It's a project trying to document all the abandoned or closed stations found on British Rail lines. I'm sure Grandma Ruth knows something about this, as apparently in the 1960's, British Railways closed a ton of rail lines. There are curren...

Re: Comment on the alleged rebate coming from the US government

Unfortunately, a lot of these countries can't help themselves, they're either under the control of dictators who don't care, or everyone's too poor to do anything. While I agree, us westerners should focus on the poor of our own countries, we should at least contribute to helping others.

Are people just getting really stupid?

I was watching TV the other night, when I saw what is quite possibly the dumbest marketing ploy ever. An advertisement came on, advertizing DIAMOND SHREDDIES cereal. It's basically a regular shreddie turned on its side, to look like a diamond. I stared in disbelief for a few minutes after that befor...
