Re: Rolling Stock skinning ideas

Wsherrick, this too happens on all my games. Any user-created locomotives have glowing lines around them at night. During the day they are fine. All CtC and regular locomotives are normal.
It's not really a big deal, but it would be interesting to find out what is causing this.

Re: Browsers

While Firefox is obviously the best by far, old habits die hard, and I'm still using IE6. From what I hear, IE7 is terrible. !*00*!

Re: Playing Speed of RRT3

I usually play on normal, but if I'm in the middle of a long scenario, where I have all my trains and everything set up, and it has a lack of events, then I play on very fast.

Well, I just finished it and sent the first edition to Hawk.

For those of you who aren't playing Crystal Cotton, you could give this one a shot.

Enjoy!

Yes, this is a very sad fact. I would love to see the re-instatement of a huge rail infrastructure again. I think that rail lines down Interstate highways would be a wonderful idea WP&P. Unfortunately, in this day and age, this probably would never happen. As to the coming of Armageddon, I...

I figured it out!! :D

The map and scenario is now set up, so I'll get to work adding events. I might get it released even before the end of the year!

Thanks for the help, and when the time comes, enjoy! 8)

I've noticed this about the construction firm too. No matter how late in the game you are, it never demands steel. :?

Funny story about that... In the 1940's when they were originally trying to find a place for the United Nations building to go up, one of the options was Sugar Island, Michigan, right between the two Sault Ste. Maries! Former Michigan Governor Chase Osborne suggested this, as he felt the completely ...

So, say I use Territory Variable 1 Then I use an event to set territory Variable 1 to 0? then set the counter for LTD Company loads hauled to territory and when territory variable 1=20 then access will be granted? This might not work because I want to have two specific cargoes hauled to the other te...

1.06 Cargoes not appearing

I installed the 1.06 patch a couple of weeks ago. I love everything about it, and it made some very nice additions to the game.

However, after installing it, I noticed that none of the new cargoes were in the game (e. g. the Hospital just shows a blank cargo demand tab). Am I missing something?

Well, the scenario is moving along slowly, and unfortunately, I've hit another snag. :( I want to have the territory access event work so that if you haul x amount of a cargo to a different territorythan the one you're accessing, you will gain access. This is probably really obvious, either t...

I'm sorry to be so condescending about another scenario writer's work  , but sadly, I have to agree completely with what belbincolne just said. Every arop scenario is exactly the same, and I would like to see something quite different. The maps are truly spectacular, but they lack major events,...

Personally, while RT3 may have its flaws, I still find it a very intruiging game and great to play over and over again. And while a new game could fix many of the flaws of the game, I think there is still a lot in the old game that could be expanded on, and we could still keep playing without attemp...
