Okay, I've emailed the zip file to JSS, and hopefully he can fix what I've done wrong. I'd just like to say thanks to JSS for offering his help to a fellow Canadian in completing the scenario. :D Hope to get a reply soon.

Okay, in order to save me the whole confusion with this variable thing, I'm going to try to change how the scenario is written. Instead, I'm going to have the other cities must be connected to Sault Ste. Marie, and see if this works. This is kind of like an (unreleased) RT2 scenario I made called 'T...

EPH, where do you get the time to do all these scenarios? They are all magnificent, and I greatly enjoy them. You're putting out scenarios now faster than I can play them, and I'm still stuck with my Northern Ontario Scenario(which I'll hopfully get a breakthrough on soon.) Anyway, I hop I'l...

I just got this scenario yesterday, and I'm currently in 1854. I won the battle of the gagues using broad gague a few years early :D (I think it was around 1840?), and I took the port upgrade, and the cotton and Iron are just flowing in, as the total coal loads between me and the AI's are around 30-...

I'm sure that would work, but once again, there are only four variables and 8 connections.

That's just it! I've got them each set to true and false accordingly! I'll check again, anyway, but I'm pretty sure they're set like that.

Ok, what I mean is that both the 'Connected' and'Not Connected' events pop up in the leger once the city is connected. For example, Sault Ste. Marie is Connected Sault Ste. Marie is not Connected. This occurs for all cities, but as I said, it only happens once the city is connected. Its like the not...

Never mind, it seems to work well. There's only one problem. Both events fire in the ledger when the city is connected. Why is this happening?

Question:

Is City connects to territory for single city connections? The bronze and silver in my scenario have odd city numbers. (You connect 5 for bronze and one more for silver)

Its a shame you can't do it like it was in RT2 where you could have a single city connection.

Okay, Here's the settings. I've checked both "In annual report/ledger" boxes, and also have both test against Player's company only, and after it, Test aginst all players each in the separate columns. As for the connection text, I basically have the city name, followed by [Company Variable...

No, I'm using the Poptop Version. Is there something in Steve's Version that gives you more track?

I just have to say that this scenario has me stumped. I've tried it out for the first time, and I've run out of track on the first leg just short of Silver City. I've tried the 'lay track when you have none' to try to make the government track screen pop up, but it hasn't. What can I do to get more ...

Thanks EPH, I'll give it a look to see how you did it. Transcontinental is another one of your great scenarios and I'm sure the new Britain map will be as well.

Thanks Wolverine, I got that fixed, then went to play it, then came across another problem. It seems that the status page of the annual report has a couple of errors on it. Where I have it saying {company} in the editor, it fills in the name of the last AI company (there are 4 of them), and it doesn...

Help needed with new scenario

Hello everyone, I'm back! Currently I'm working on a new scenario of my own, based around my home locale of Northern Ontario. I'm hoping to post it on this site once I'm done. Anyway, I was going through the scenario, sort of playtesting, and I have a later event that tells your railroad to connect ...

Actually, I don't. Ironically, that's what I thought the problem might have been in the first place, but since none of them are listed as requiring Coast to Coast so I didn't bother. When I'm thinking about it, I'll download them and give it ANOTHER try!
