Re: Remaking RRT2 maps for RRT3
Well, I guess the question is, are they hard coded or not? **!!!** If they are not, then I guess we would need to find how the game creates the .MAP files, and what program opens them, then find where the heightmaps are stored in those files. Just out of curiosity, has anyone else had the RRT2 map f...

Re: Remaking RRT2 maps for RRT3
Thanks for the reply Wolvy. The question is, how does one find where the heightmaps are stored in the files? I'm not exactly a very computer-savvy person, so I'm not really that good at tinkering around and experimenting with files and file formats. I'd really like to do this, though, but the proble...

Remaking RRT2 maps for RRT3
Hello everyone, I've had a thought about the possibility of re-making some RRT2 scenarios into RRT3. Some would be fairly easy to remake so long as they were based off of real-world terrain, but it would be difficult to do the same for fictional locations. So I'm just wondering, is it possible to ex...

Re: My Next Project-Borduria After the War
Well, I've finally finished the scenario, and I've sent the first version to Hawk for posting.
Thanks again, everyone, and enjoy! ![Very Happy :-D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

Re: Station List and $ Signs
I thought that too, but they sometimes appear when I jump to a station by clicking on its location on the map, even when there's no train nearby.Hawk wrote: Isn't that the only time they appear, when a train delivers its cargo?

Re: New Scenario Needs a Map
Not to downplay anyone else's opinion, but I personally think that the scenario would be more interesting if it wasn't based off of any 'real world' areas or timelines. It would be neat for it to be a fictional place with fictional colonial empires ruling it and expanding, then make your own storyli...

Re: Station List and $ Signs
I think the station list also shows the highest amounts of demand for specific cargoes at other stations. As for the dollar signs, I believe that they are just showing a lot of money is being made at the station, as they also appear when trains deliver cargo.

Re: Rails through farms
I thought that in RRT2 you couldn't even build through farms. The rails always went around, and if you tried to demolish the crops, then the entire farm would disappear.

Re: Finally Getting On Board
Welcome aboard!
Yes, I remember how I got hooked with RRT2 right from the first scenario I played. After that, it was only inevitable that I would like RRT3 as well.
Again,
and see you around.
