Re: 90% Savegame delays bug

1. It does save the game, and this includes Autosaving
2. I did reboot my machine
3. And so did I downloaded 'included' logos. the map is very detailed
4. After this incident. the same symptom applies to every other maps too. i've played Tanzam map.

90% Savegame delays bug

I've just get this problems coming. I've installed this game for several months and it works fine. until recently after I've installed 'Made in America' map and restarted it several times (so to beat it) and few weeks ago i've got '90% Savegame delays bug' ... i.e. when progress bar goes to 90%, it ...

Re: Better than Shays? (other geared locos)

Even so by the 1920s. Mallets (and Garratts) became preferred mountaineer engines. Geared locomotive developments ceased with the introduction of simplified Mallets (and logging industry also uses Mallets in some significant quantities)

And Mallets are downplayed. despite being invented in quite a same time. and Mallets are also favorite logging engines.

Re: Rails & Riches

Viconius, I looked at the video of the train. I realize that it is a very early preview, but it reminded me a little too much of Railroads! I have read many comments about that game crashing (literally as well) and burning. May I suggest that you consider addressing how your game will be different....

Re: Rails & Riches

Onto the game time. what is the the earliest possible 'Year-0' game-year?. will it be 1829 like in RT3 (the year Liverpool & Manchester Raiway inagurated) ? or in the year the first colliery railroad appears anywhere in England? (around 1810s I think) or in the year that draft animals are the on...

Re: Rails & Riches

yes! American freight trains are made with at at least 4 Diesel locomotives stacked, allowing a stacked tractive forces for a miles-long freight train. (and also allows a back-up power should one locomotive breaks down and others still running :P )

Re: Rails & Riches

While RT2 was my favorite of the series for awhile, the more I played RT3 the more it grew on me. At first I thought I didn't really have to do anything in it as I could just set up trains and let them haul whatever and the cargo traveling on its own would take care of itself, but then I gave it an...

Re: Rails & Riches

Speaking of heavy freight trains, it'd be nice if it were possible to do the game physics such that long freight trains were possible. This could give a much better purpose for the various locomotives in the roster. RT3's 8 car limit renders the larger engines hardly more effective than the rest of...

Re: Rails & Riches

So that means I have to lay tracks to every farms, mines and logcamps to haul freights directly to mills, factory and markets. right? instead of using road switcher to 'gather' resources to nearby city freightyards and form a heavyweight freight trains??

Re: Does anyone can recognize this engine?

I don't think the Chinese ever built this Streamliner. they... however. DID have steamlined experiences before. In the Japanese-held Manchuguo there was one, also a Pacific-type like the Mallard but MUCH slower. Looks like one of the German streamliners. AFAIK only one or two in this class of Prewar...
