Re: A few small changes.

Well Gumboots, Welcome to the position of "manager", if that is your now title. I read thru all the posts, and it seems as if you have most every thing under control, and looking for better "inputs" to further enhance the program. As not being every knowledgeable about computer f...

Re: Tycooning 101: making mergers fun and profitable.

No Gumboots, and since my last tread, I found the answer. The "menu" of the "Revenue, Expenses", also has the "merger" option. Must be getting old, as I did not notice it when I brought up the "Expenses" category. LOL The reason I had made the request, as I co...

Re: Tycooning 101: making mergers fun and profitable.

All of the suggestions are very noteworthy, and with the caboose especially, as I believe that it helps to lessen the chance of a breakdown.
BUT, for some reason, the suggestion to merge doesn't seem to work for me. Without going into detail, could it be that I am playing a Campaign?

Promatory Point Welding Event 1869

There has been an amount of info given to the connections of the Transcontinental Rail joining, but I found a narrative which has been researched and compiled into 711 page narrative, with some items only slightly reported. Here are some of those "slightly reported" items. The rendition of...

Re: new map: Balkans 1878 BETA

A big "welcome" Anastasd, As a new "user creator", because the older ones are "retiring" from the agenda, after years of extending their imagination in challenges of their scenarios. Although I have been playing RT2 scenarios for months, I like wise have neglected to ch...

Re: {NEW BETA} fix/update South Central British Columbia 1898

Thanks Gumboots and RofR, For the "upgrade" and "fixes". The SCBC original had some very interesting challenges, but now glad to see that there has been some fixes to make for better playing. I do see that at least 12 attempts have been downloaded, although only the 2 of you maki...

North to Alaska

Well Fellas, It has been a time since my last attempt with this scenario, found it enjoyable, so hence, booted it up again. However, the terrain features of getting out of Vancouver is different. In previous attempts, the terrain went up the incline, made a 180 degree curve, went up another incline,...

Re: Britain

Well Gumboots, For the suggestion, and I thought the same, but find that Editor with the Shift+E, doesn't work that way with Platinum. The action only gives you the list of all the active trains operation. Just like only pressing the letter E. ^**lylgh Well, at least in the Campaign scenario. :salut...

Britain

I did a search for Britain, of which there doesn't seem to be a "direct" tread. It is part of my Platinum version. But then, it won't be the first time I was not able to find stuff. **!!!** Any way, the scenario does not seem to be completely finished. Lots of coal and iron, but when "...

Re: Latvian Republic 1920

Well Gumboots, I have been sleeping at the switch, with other projects, and medical "adventures", so just failed to reply, after another attempt at play. At this point, I would have to load it, to see what you had pertained to, as the "island" town. However, I will say that I too...

Re: Latvian Republic 1920

Sorry about that spelling Gumboots, And don't know, even from memory, where that "city" entered my mind. So, being that the city is Ventsplis, a player has to connect to Mikkeltories, Mazirbe, and Kolta, the cost per track laying is "exaggerated". Believe that it was $127,000K (?...

Re: Latvian Republic 1920

Those are a lot of suggestions Gumboots, BUT I did not read them until I had replayed and received the GOLD, in similar to that of your suggestions. But thanks for your agenda. What I did find "wondering" is that of the "fumungus" cost of track laying in the Opolplis (? spelling&...

Re: Latvian Republic 1920

Okay Gumboot, I didn't pay that much attention to that entry being a minus, thinking it to just be a dash. However, I back tracked to a previous different save, to see that the figure stood alone, that being a positive. Hence instead of "trying to download" a ledger page, I will do some &q...

Latvia Republic 1920

Well Gumboots, This is a very interesting and challenging scenario. I did run into a problem and got "kicked down the track", but don't know the reason. **!!!** The only item which stays on the end of the years is that of the GOLD. For at least more than a dozen years, the passenger hauls ...

Which brings "mankind" to adapt to the conditions wanted, and for the satisfactory result. I don't know if they could be called "inventions", but if a condition can be solved by a solution, that is to be the considered goal. The article is interesting.

Well Hawk, A great addition to your web site. !*th_up*! Although I have only probably "touched" on its entirety, being that of the French Railroad Part I, I was not aware of the expansion of their rail system at so early a time era, 1830 for coal, and thereafter that of passenger travel. A...

Re: The Alpstein

I believe that the scenario cheated me *!*!*! The Gold notice popped up in 1929, with only 3 of the 10 required for Santis. **!!!** I did have a couple of tunnels, but of most connections, I just went up the hill/mountain, or found a way to go around the obstructions. The mountains were not as bad a...
