I have not been on here in years, and I'm amazed what I see from you Gumboots! Really incredible what you've made with the RT3 engine in mind. Do you do all of your texture work in photoshop? It looks like the classic handmade textures; something we don't see as much anymore.

I could probably use 12 edges for the buffers if I need to redo them, and probably just have the couplers be flat planes. Maybe even do that for the siderods too.

By track model I meant the track that you've been using in your blender scenes.
For wheels, how do you tell the game where which wheel and rod goes? I vaguely remember reading on this forum that the game automatically animates each wheel/rod.

So are these points defined by vertices, or are they different sort of points? Would you also mind posting your track model? It would be handy to make sure everything is in scale.

Are you planning to model actual wheels or use flat planes with a texture over them? Also, how are you able to define the start and end of a loco? As well as the smoke and lights?

Just as a tip, I'd upload .blend files. .blend1, .blend2, etc are backups of the main .blend file. You can rename the backups to .blend and they will work, but it's easier to just upload the original. Congrats for making progress on this stuff. I'll keep checking to see what you have in store for us!

When I first installed TM, I noticed it didn't have all of the engines 1.06 had; What I did was take my 1.06 install (which I no longer have) and merge the EngineTypes, PopTopExtraContent together. Up until recently this stopped working.

Alright, I'll take a look at the Daylight skin, but for some reason, half of the locos in 1.06 are not showing at all. I'm using TM to test all of this, but I'm not sure why the others aren't loading. For example, the V2, Black 5, Daylight, and other engines just don't load up at all. Hoping I'm not...

It makes me wonder why the author of the current Black 5 didn't include piston rods. If you look at the beauty shot you can see piston rods in the picture.
