Re: Central America - BETA Version
NIce map! Ive been looking for something new and this was really fun. On my first try got Gold on Expert level in December of year 20. I sold stock twice after the challenge, and once was at the end of year 20 to hit the CBV mark Just to see if I could get it.

Re: Game Crashes
To add to what BH said; In case you decide to play 1.06 down the road or even just make a copy of your RT3 1.05 installation and then use the copy for the one use you with custom locomotives. Have you read this thread about multiple installs? http://hawkdawg.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=82&t=2363...

Re: Game Crashes
It's the "Blurry Texture Fix " stashed on this page: http://hawkdawg.com/rrt/rrt3/Xtras/ If you're not running it already, try it. Even if it doesn't fix all the crashes it should make your game look a lot better. I know it doesn't cause crashes, so there's no reason not to have it. You k...

Re: Game Crashes

And I have installed custom engines - the *.PK4 files that I put into the UserExtraContent folder - not sure if that's what you mean. Prob cant get anything from these details below so I think if it...

I seem to be having a real problem with crashes recently. Thanks to everyone who helped on my D'Orient Express issue (which was resolved). But I'm now writing b/c its happening on some brand new scenarios. I downloaded The Northeast Corridor and it crashed in the first year before I even did anythin...

Re: Farewell to Steam
Wow, I just played this one for the first time. Maybe I just made some bad decisions or maybe it was just bad run of luck on the economy but I had a really hard time. It runs 50 years which is cool, and there's a creative idea about winning points in different territories. And about 30 years in (aro...

Re: Express D'Orient
hi, the very first time it crashed it crashed at the same point. i'd setup a section of track between like constantine and the same other station. it would crash when id run the first train from it, and at the same spot. these other two times I cant find a pattern. was wondering if this is a quirk o...

various points. what i wind up doing is restarting from the last checkpoint, taking various saves as it gets closer to the crash point, and then only way I seem to get past it is to change something, like add a new section of track or building. so far its happened at 3 different points in the game, ...

Installing new maps
I've downloaded my first new maps (California uber alles for example). And simply copied the .gmp file into the \maps folder with the other maps. However when I start RTIII I dont see the map. I have (EDIT) version 1.05 installed, and I dont think this map needs patch 1.06 right? What am I missing?
