Re: Eastern China
Finally getting around to posting my summary on my accomplishments for this one! Somehow I managed to win it on Medium with 2 AIs. :D I found out if I started in Wuhan, which in my scenario that had an auto plant and steel mill, and branch out to all the surrounding towns, one that has the tire fact...

Re: Eastern China
I've skimmed this thread but didn't find much relating to the Auto hauling requirements. So far I've struggled really hard to get any autos shipped to ports. Does anybody have any recommendations? Whenever I start the game on Medium, the auto plants are either (1) not producing cars because they lac...

Re: Gaining Personal Net Wealth (PNW)
Thanks everybody! I couldn't have done it without you. !$th_u$! I absolutely love this game... strategy/problem solving, mathematics, economics, geography, and TRAINS... all my favorites things! :D @Gumboots -- I checked out your map. I loved the SE Australia map a lot, so I might have to give this ...

Re: Gaining Personal Net Wealth (PNW)
Thanks for responses! As I was playing the game today, I realized on my own exactly what was advised here -- the more stock I amassed and kept, no matter how high it got, ultimately made me more money! I've never had so much PNW wealth before in a scenario, I'm so excited!! I was able to use everyon...

Re: Gaining Personal Net Wealth (PNW)
I have a another question about PNW... I know how stock splits at the end of the year if it's over $100/share, but I haven't been able to decide if it's better to sell off my stock high (over $125/share) then rebuy it after it splits (at ~$60/share), or simply to hold on to as much stock as possible...

Re: Gaining Personal Net Wealth (PNW)
Oh my goodness, I wasn't expecting such thoughtful and thorough replies! Took me some time to get around to reading through everybody's advice! Thanks everyone!! :) Now that it's the weekend again, I'm going to try and waste more time trying to defeat this scenario. I used to think I was good at thi...

Gaining Personal Net Wealth (PNW)
I've checked the forum and haven't really found too much advice on this, so I was wondering if I could ask directly... Lately I've been playing the South East Australia scenario, and it has a requirement I've never had to complete before: $5 million in PNW. Every time I try to gain more and more PNW...

Re: Beware on Margin Calls
I really wish I had read this thread sooner... I was working on a scenario and after my 5th attempt, finally got it right. Then, on year 13 of 25, I got greedy and bought a bunch of stock. Now, the stock prices are slowly lowering and I can't get the broker to stop calling... I keep restarting from ...
