Re: All aboaaard!
rognas, I ordered a DVD from the library, over 3 months ago about the trains in your area of the world. I'm still second on the list. I guess the person who has the DVD is not sending it back. I'm leaving my name on the list just in case that person with the DVD realizes the DVD is about 2 months ov...

Before you retire, you get paid for overtime. Now all I get is a longer list of things to do.
Maybe I should take a rest and retire from retirement and return to work.

Re: HELP!!! My PC is crashing.
I like my wide screen LCDs as I can park the menu bar out of the way on one side. None of the CRTs I've owned, was as bright, something I like, although the CRT detail was good. None of the CRTs ever failed on me. I have one LCD that quit after about a year. I bought a Kodak printer at about the sam...

Possible Virus
Even if not true, this is worth noting. ------------------------------------------------ If you receive a mail called' POSTCARD,' even though sent to you by a friend, do not open it! Shut down your computer immediately. This is the worst virus announced by CNN. It has been classified by Microsoft as...

I'm thinking about buying this place.
The owners may be upside down on their payments.

Of course I will have to break open my piggy bank and starting counting.

Re: Two questions
I don't notice a difference; But then I always save with a new name each time. The new name may only have a number or letter different in the title. I modify more maps than I make from scratch. It saves a lot of time. There are some very good map makers with good maps to modify. I normally don't pub...

SJ&E RR map
I've been working on this map for a long time. During testing I didn't like the way I had set up the events. Made a few changes. Now I really don't like them. If I don't get them right this time around, I'm going to redo them from the start. Not enough variables and may be I used too much math. I ke...

Re: HELP!!! My PC is crashing.
My NEC 9600 computer still works. I bought a new one after the NEC monitor decided to live on the floor and found it a hard place to land on. I wish the company still made desk tops computers. I never had a moment of trouble with that CPU. Only the monitor didn't like trains running all over it and ...

Re: Two questions
I keep wondering why I don't have the problem. Since I save a map like a new map each time, I'm not copying-over the last saved map. If it is true that the map grows larger when it is copied-over an older copy of the map. My thinking then, is the changes made with a copy-over , does not delete total...

Re: Two questions
I tend to avoid a copy over when saving a map in the editor. Doing this seems to avoid compression problems. But I normally detail a map after it is in working order, so I haven't experienced many compression problems. I originally did this to avoid losing a map should it corrupt I do this by adding...

Re: views with mouse and issue with one scenario
RT2 has always had a few small bugs that were never fixed. Some maps with problems were fixed. I',m working on a new map and in the editor as I move the mouse over a spot on the map it crashes the game to the desk top. I save often, so I never lose much. I don't have a fix for your first bug. On the...

C&N RD3 cars
We took a fun vacation in BC. We stayed in Victoria. I wanted to ride the RD3 car from Victoria half way down the island. that was about a 100 mile route, one way. Then I found out that a round trip ticket for 2 of us was going to be about $285.00. That was tourist prices I guess. So we changed our ...

I lost a LCD a few months ago. But; When I turned it on, before I turned the computer on, I got a clear message that there was no siginal. When I turned the computer on the screen went black. Not even a flicker. Turned the computer off and the monitor worked again. I bought a new computer with anoth...

Re: Nothing says good morning like....
Tax cuts. Seems like that was a means Reagan used, ending bad times in the US a while back.
Of course for you, those returned taxes had to be for goods looks after your morning coffee took affect.
But, You need to be careful; Strong coffee will make your ears swell.

Re: Issues I am Having With Updates
I wonder if it was the 1.04 beta that had the tiger tank that you could operate. At the time I didn't notice how large the platform was.
I bet there was a lot more code there then I realized.
Maybe that tiger was going to be a bulldozer?
