Re: Back again and has anyone heard from Hawk?
Hey Admiral, Yep, I'm still kicking but just not active here anymore after turning the place over to Gumboots ( who I should say is dong a jam-up job :salute: ), although I do check in periodically to see what's going on. I did loose my wife back in March to Emphysema, after about 50 years...

Re: A few small changes.
Just by accident, and strictly in the interests of testing the game, I found out what the "big dog" is !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !*th_dwn*! !*th_dwn*! !*th_dwn*! My use of the term Big Dawg ( note the spelling, which is intentional ) is very loosely based on an old cartoon from my youth called...

Re: Project: Unofficial 1.06 Patch
Boy, do I feel stupid now. *!*!*! Not sure what I was thinking. ^**lylgh It looks like the oldest 1.06 I have is named rt3_1.06_b4, which - according to the included readme, says it's 1.06 beta 4. The readme and the exe are dated 3/26/07. It's small enough to attach here. I'll look a little deeper a...

Re: Project: Unofficial 1.06 Patch
I have a couple Alpha files. One is named Alpha2.zip with an RT3.exe date of 8/15/09 at 57 MB and one named Trainmaster_Alpha_1.zip with an RT3.exe date of 4/30/04 ( that sounds a bit peculiar ) at 77.7 MB. I think they're a little too big to attach to a post so I've uploaded them both to my family ...

Re: A few small changes.
I do but it's kind'a old. I haven't added any of the new files added since you took over. Even at that the files add up to about 4.5 GB.
BTW! You should probably change that moniker "The Big Dawg", since that's you now.

Re: Howdy Folks!
Not much MrScott. Just stayin' alive and healthy. :-D I still game a bit. Games like Surviving the Aftermath, Insurmountable, Airborne Kingdom, Dyson Sphere Program, and a few others. I don't actually play a lot though. I cook a lot and sleep a good bit. I'm only 70 but I sure do feel a lot ol...

Re: Howdy Folks!
I stop by periodically but without logging in so I didn't realize Gumboots has been MIA for a while. It looks like he hasn't logged in since the 2nd.
I hope everything is OK with him. I'll keep an eye on the place in his absence.

Re: A few small changes.
Two carriage returns will still work there, ... Isn't that a reference to the antiquated typewriter technology? ^**lylgh I thought you were a little too young for that. (Come to think of it, while I'm messing with BBC tags I am tempted to add one of my more evil inventions: the bouncing m...

OK! I have to try out this new clear tag. Pic 1: DV Map.png Pic 2: bcgmap.png
So it looks like you can run it all in one line, like this Pic 1:[clear][/clear]Pic 2:[clear][/clear] and the clear tag will place st...

No more in-line attachments? frown-o (hand-o-leftFont Awesome frown and finger )
I must confess, using the Font Awesome is kind'a cool but scrolling through that massive list is a wee bit of a deterrent.

I'm not complaining; just a surprised at the list.
I still haven't got used to not going to the drop down menu for unread posts, as much as I like it this way.

Cool! I like the new hr code.
The superscript and subscript are a nice addition too, but that cheat sheet for FA sure is expansive.
