Re: So I'm just trying to get access to the archives...
Well, whatever I/you did worked this time. The only thing I did different is not use the windows placed user name(which seemed correct) but erased it and re-typed it. The password I always retype anyway. I've done this stuff a ton of times elsewhere and normally don't have problems, even with using ...

Re: Comment on the alleged rebate coming from the US government
I guess the government can just keep borrowing money to keep taxes where they are or even lower them but... whats the debt at now... a trillion or more? It's been tried before but eventually you have to pay the piper, don't you?

Re: Goals
PNW and Industry profits are my least liked goals. The rest depend on the scenerio and the values as to whether they are reachable by me or not. If not I'll usually go into the editor and start messing around if I like the map.

Re: Agenda of the Media
I'm at the point that I no longer trust the newspapers or TV media. If they say something is bad it is probably not so bad and if they say something is good it could be bad. Tough to have an understanding when this media lacks truth. Or when then selectively print or say what suits them... and that...

Re: Agenda of the Media
What I'd like to know is what killed all those soldiers and how old they were when they died? When there's no war are they bad drivers, fliers, sailors and they get better when there's a war? Seems pretty weird to me, those statisitics, especially with no more data than one set of numbers.

Re: Global Warming believers don't read this
Politics, schmallitics.... they all have agenda's and dirty money. GWB has the oil money so of course there's no global warming. Gore has the green money so of course there's global warming... Like's been said, the truth is somewhere in between and not always easy to find. I don't like to get into t...

Re: Global Warming believers don't read this
I guess that all depends where you live. I'd not mind it a bit warmer, but for those folks living closer to the equator I bet they may not agree, especially if it changes weather patterns and thusly affects farming and the food supply.Gwizz wrote:

Re: Hauling Freight
I'm guessing a restart or 2 might be necessary in some cases if there isn't a chain available at startup?

Re: Hauling Freight
What factories? Hardly any around and cost to build is real high. After looking at the map for 30 minutes I'm at a loss on how to even try to start so I'll wait and see if some other has any ideas
