Re: Removing pre-built track/companies
Thanks for the replies. It's what I figured but had hopes there would be a cure in the editor. O well, I can live with it but it's a pain renaming all the stations every time I play a new game

Removing pre-built track/companies
I've done a search and can't find any info on this so maybe someone can answer this for me. I've removed all the track and station and liquidated all the companies from a map with them prebuilt and while it plays fine, everytime I build a station in a city it adds junction to the cities name. I pres...

Re: Global Warming
Actually, I did not ask a single question that does not have an answer, but I did not ask those questions to have them answered here, by me or anyone else. I've found that arguing climate change rarely does much except make people defensive and hostile. Rather than throw a whole bunch of facts and ...

Re: Review of Northern Ontario
Played this map for the first time today and its great. I would have had gold but something weird was going on with my meat packing plants and I could not get any meat to ship to Churchill.... Guess they will have to eat whales and seals this winter. On the meat front once I connected to Churchill I...

I don't have an answer to the cracked disk dilemma but it sure does give new meaning to using a cracked copy

Re: Favorite Scenario(s)?
I agree with almost all of Czar Mohabs list. My biggest dislikes are prebuilt track and AI's with prebuilt track, AI's in general, High PNW goals, unrealistic(IMO) goals like a billion of anything or 10,000 loads hauled or some other such goal with numbers beyond my comprehension ;-) ,too many citie...

Re: CFL bulbs (Compact fluorescent lamps)
You must either have bad bulbs or bad luck Jerry. I've got at least 12 CFL's and 9 4' tube fixtures and only replaced 1 CFL in the last 6 months. Most of my CFL's are probably 2 -4 years old by now and still going strong.

In RT2 days I visited Ceebee'S (Chuck Barkman's) website, and just made my handle the same way. My name is Joe Fitzpatrick. Hey Chuck! Glad to meet you, neighbour! (0!!0) Small world, isn't it :-D (0!!0) (0!!0) Jerry(Gwizz) is just across the border and John(JSS) is even closer at the coast so this...

Bricks are cool. I've put down a few bricks mostly back in the days I was a mason and not a carpenter so yeah, I don't mind bricks.

Re: CFL bulbs (Compact fluorescent lamps)
I've been using CFL's almost exclusively for the last 3 or 4 years and have had only a few burnouts compared to what I would have had with incandescants. Probably a tenth, I reckon. Yeah, they cost more but mine don't flicker and the light seems to be just fine though they do take a few seconds long...

Well there ya' go CeeBee. I take it you read the post on ports and warehouses at the link in my previous post? I most certainly did and I thank you for posting it.
