Re: Important Notice: Forum Glitch - Website Update!

Well, it's true it doesn't work in Opera. I'll try to post a screenshot if I can. The drop down menu's opened on their own. I can close one but if I try to close a second one the first one re-opens. I can open different forums or threads but they all look like this screenshot. Anyway, no worries if ...

Re: Important Notice: Forum Glitch - Website Update!

Unfortunately Opera doesn't work and I hate pretty much every other browser but I guess I'll have to use Chrome just for this forum. **!!!**
With any luck the next Opera update will make things right ^**lylgh

Re: Editing or completely wiping out High Scores

The default ones were there. 2 campaign and 3 regular ones. The regular ones are pretty bad so they will be off the list after I play 10 games.

Re: Editing or completely wiping out High Scores

To answer my own question in case anyone else has this issue... probably a win 8 or 10 thing maybe. The pathway is local disk(C:) Users/Owner/AppData/Local/VirtualStore/Program Files (x86)/Railroad Tycoon 3/Data/Other The maps are duplicated here and the save games are here as well. Gotta love Micro...

Re: Editing or completely wiping out High Scores

RRT3 quit working so I uninstalled and then reinstalled up to 1.05/no cd. However all my previous high scores are still showing and I want to start over. I couldn't figure out where they were so I looked around and found this thread. Problem is I still don't know where they are. My data/other folder...

Re: Speed adjustment considerations

Is the RRT3 v1.06 loco update beta 1 the most up to date version of Lirio's Balance and realism download? It's the only file I've found so far after looking through umpteen pages and posts.

Re: Bayern (BETA)

I'm giving this map a go but I don't think I'm doing very well. Long runs, slow engines, not much variety in cargo... I think I'm not so good at RRT3 ^**lylgh

Re: Speed adjustment considerations

I looked around and couldn't find the caboose/express car pack that is referenced. Any chance one of you fine gents could point me in the right direction? :salute: :-D

Re: Haul It

Looked at the map a little closer. Rivers are goofy as heck. Terrain ain't so great either. I played till 1939 and quit. I don't need the grief !*00*! Thanks for all the pointers though. Got more reading to do about loco's it seems :salute:

Re: Haul It

I've been reading all the stuff you posted on engines and follow it for the most part even though I'd die to be able to run the bigboy or challenger on occasion. I also have played the Pacific Northwest map quite a few times. I've also done a bit of terrain modifying on that map so I can run a reaso...

Re: Haul It

Thanks for the reply :) I am seeing pretty much what you have explained. I have never used those cheat methods. Probably never even crossed my mind. I'm not a robber baron either. I suppose I have a lot of trouble sometimes with maps because I try to play as realistic a style as I can even though I ...

Haul It

Have not found a thread on this map. It's the Pacific Northwest map reworked that has a lot of hauling goals. I started playing last night but didn't seem to be progressing very well. Just wondering if anyone has played this map and what kind of strategies they used.

I played this without AI's sometime in the last year. I don't think I made the goals but I do remember running a lot of coal and iron trains down the mountain.

Re: Canada Bound

I tried this one today for the first time? Might have played it 9 or 10 years a go but don't remember for sure. Anyway, I stunk. After 10 years I had 0 points of anything and so I just quit. Found this thread after the fact and while it might help, I'm not sure I'll try again. Maybe a better seed wo...
