Does anyone have a clue to the pros and cons of NOT using the "Snap to 64+1" option? This is in the mapbuilder. Like why to use it and what happens if you do use it. IIRC a long time ago I chose not to use the 64+1 option and the game reverted from 560x560 to 512x512 during the build. Also...

So he could drop cars and tires. There's two resources he does not need. Or just add rubber to the map now the auto chain is complete. Or just have tires arrive by a port. No need for rubber then. Also what I don't understand with game random generator, is why I setup for Riga and some other probability of 100% for port and other facilities, but sometime it is seeded, but sometimes not… I thought that 100% probability is a 100% probability :-) . It seems to act more like "points" n...

It's not the cargoes. It's the cars that carry them. Once you have run the custom cars they are locked into the map. If you save the map after using custom cars, they become a permanent fixture of the map. AFAIK the only way around this would be to directly edit the hex code for the .gmp, but offha...

Yes. If the custom cars have been loaded while testing the map, anyone who wants to play the map will need to have the custom cars installed. One fix I'll try is to reload the untouched 1.05 cargos into the map and resave it. Then manually paste over the 10 extra 1.06 cargos. If that does not work,...

Hmm? There's nothing on the website or in the zip that says that Hexum requires any extra content, and nothing in this topic about it. It may be another map you've installed that require that rollingstock, even if you're not playing that particular map, especially considering that Hexum was release...

The obvious reason to build on the quarry islands is that the quarry will output 2-3x (boost events exaggerate the effect) the amount of Rock and/or Crystals at full/high price than at very low prices. If there were no ports, prices in some places would collapse. This would mean higher rail profits in general and somewhat lower conversion industry profits. when do I get access to the other territories in order to complete the requirement to connect with Zwikau? Beginning of August 1866. There's still a loophole that if you start the game in 1867 or later you will never receive access. I Started in 1888 on normal, noticed no access out to territories....
