Re: Transport Fever

Don't use wait for full load when just starting out a line. Only once the line is established can you test using wait for full.

BTW if your clever enough you can use the RRT3 map builder to make height maps for large areas of real world land!

Re: Two New Train Games

How is going with the change ups? That collider file is nothing more than collision detection. I got rid of it in the builders supply and now I can build the BS in any town I want to. I also removed the collision detection for the XL tram Station. It is much easier to place these two buildings in ci...

Re: Two New Train Games

I did some testing with the New Industry mod, both 2.42 and your edits and I have a couple of comments and questions, as well as a problem I found. I'm thinking the Fertilizer factory could require manure and/or mulch from the farm and grain silo, along with the minerals, and also add chemicals to ...

50/50 it would work. If it does be reminded that bauxite and aluminum will not be in the game. However I could slip you the original 2.4.2 mod in a PM if you want.

Re: Two New Train Games

Based on what it says at the Russian mods site , only Steam users can get the New Industry 2.4.2 mod, which means your files are only good if you bought TPF from Steam. I also bought the game off GoG a while back. I highly recommend downloading TPFMM. It keeps all you mods in one place. Plus you ca...

Re: The Zany World of Baffania

Everyone should play this map from start to finish! It's a rite of passage. Or the initiation into this site. Near the end of my one and only playthough of this map it became apparent that I would not achieve my desired medal G,S or B. I don't remember which medal it was but I going do what ever it...

Re: Two New Train Games

That 20 min rule is long gone. As seen by this screenshot. piling up!.jpg This happens when you focus on one part of the map for a few hours. And ignore others the parts. Because I use limited track all it takes is one train staring contest and everything grinds to a halt. I don't mind it tho, I see...

Re: Bermuda Triangle for 1.06!

I was at GoG the other day and saw TPF on sale for $19.99 ( 40% off ), so I bought Train Fever for $2.99. ^**lylgh I'm enjoying it, for what it is. Gosh, that's what I call cannibalism! Unless you bought TpF afterwords. TpF has more features, mods, and control. Not to mention frame rate becomes and...

Re: Building track in mountainous regions?

You can always adjust the terrain around the track of the land is to steep or uneven. Just like real railroad do! If I had a section track heights like 111122222468888111115555111 I'll get the terrain leveling tool, and make it large enough to cover that entire section. press it just once & sect...

Re: Bermuda Triangle for 1.06!

What does the task list look like? Did you manage to define a structured gameplay path? TPF is not dynamic enough for good scripts. It's just a sandbox game. Just go to the steam fourm. 90% of the threads are "my trains are stuck " "The factory is not loading my train!" or "...

Re: Africa & Middle East v1.06

Boy, that's a lot of tread reading, although important. I downloaded it, and started to play, but then I looked at the challenges. The 175 cities for the Gold in 45 years???? That is equivilant to 4+ per year. WOW. I don't believe there is an adequate amount of "bonds" to keep an adequate...

Re: Two New Train Games

Now that I've changed the recipes for all of TpF's industry buildings that game is way more playable. So playable it is the only game I played last week! If I see proof of strategic economic challenge I could be tempted to try it out. I concluded that the default setup didn't make the grade. Actual...

Get transport fever and put Train fever to the pasture. Now that I've changed the recipes for all of TpF's industry buildings that game is way more playable. Re: Bermuda Triangle for 1.06!

Good timing bringing this thread back. I have been working on porting Bermuda Triangle to Transport Fever. If your TF maps cover alot of area like Bermuda Triangle does, you will spend hours in GIMP!!! I played BT map 15+ times during the beta stages and I was tired of it by the time I uploaded it t...

2200FPS is awesome until you hear coil whine in the main menu! and it gets worse during the game! Force Vsync did nothing. What works to get rid of the whine is running the game windowed. Problem solved.

Just make sure dgvoodoo is only installed in your RRT3 folder, "if it is in!" any other folder your computer may act strange! I was hesitant to download something with a little voodoo in it!
