Ruth, I had your problem with the map editor crashing and multiple saves washing out the map. The problem was my video card: once I improved that, everything was cured.

There's also the Roman Empire map. Memory fails me and there's no button to get from here to the maps. Was that made by Gwizz?

The comments show up in alternating bands of dark and light. The light-colored band could be more tan and less pink (IE peach).

I do like this better than the blue and silver, but the colors are a little 'peachy'. I know you live in Georgia but I'd like a bit less pink.
