End of the Line for RT3 Patches ?

Heya!
I was just wondering if there were any plans on doing another patch? Or is this pretty much the final product? I had a couple ideas I'd like to submit if there is any possibility of a future release.

Re: Several gameplay questions

Thanks for that input Hawk. Sometimes it's difficult to setup controlled testing environments for those cargo shipping scenarios, so thanks for the reply it'll save me a lot of time. Also good to know about the service towers and AI behaviour. I couldn't figure out why they weren't using my track, n...

Several gameplay questions

Heya! A few questions here that I could not find answers to in the forum. 1. Can I use a competing company's service stations and towers ? Can they use mine ? 2. Possible exploit in the 'ship-at-a-loss' feature in 1.06: Let's say I decide to ship-at-a-loss over a competing company's track for examp...

Re: The Urine Test

heya! That urine test / welfare issue is a complicated affair. I agree in the basic idea of urinalysis testing to identify substance abusers. But following that, those people should be given a chance or two to create a better life for themselves. First, if you simply took the addicts off of welfare,...

Re: Track Laying Techniques

I've got smilies turned off in my UCP, but I just assumed that only meant for MY views. (i.e., I thought they'd show up for others when viewing)

guess I'll have to uncheck " []disable smilies " next time I use one

1.06 Patch and Other add-ons (extras)

Heya! I apologize in advance, as I've been reading this forum for a few hours now and I know you guys/gals have answered all kinds of install questions, but *sigh* I gotta ask one more. I did read the readme file included with 1.06, so I did go from a clean install, but I had a few questions about o...

Re: argentinian newbie

Heya! I can verify this issue. Patch 1.06 will NOT work with the STEAM game version. They package it with C2C and patch to v1.5. Then they chop up the v1.05 rt3.exe into several parts and add their custom code to it (no-cd), then mix it all up and what you are left with is a very small (810k) STEAM ...

What an incredible site!

Heya! I'm so very glad I stumbled onto this site (and affiliates). I had just purchased the newest RAILROADS! game under a wave of nostalgia only to find that it won't run on my video card so I dug-up my old RT3 disks and re-installed and... well, the rest, as they say, is history. I'm wondering wh...
