Hello readers,
I don't know what went wrong but, this morning I deleted the 104 folder and reinstalled it along with the 104 patch and it works just fine and I can save files.
Seems there still a few gremlins in Windows even version 10.

Hello readers, Another problem. Reinstalled RT3 version 1.00. Runs ok. Created a folder in Railroad Tycoon 3 called Railroad Tycoon 1.04. Copied folder Railroad Tycoon 3 into Railroad Tycoon 104. Hello RulerofRails, It's getting too confusing for me. Although I have a version 1.06 as it says on the RT3 screen it still flashes the screen four or five times before showing the menu. But it works fine after that as far as I can tell. I'm not happy with it though so will attempt to reinstall from...

I feel stupid.
The 1.05 file on running it is in fact Coast to Coast Version 1.06.
Must be the tablets.

Hello, Yes you did read correctly. It's puzzling me. Nothing changed. No settings on the program changed. One day working fine, next day poof. I have done what you suggest about copying 1.05 and then installing 1.06. But no luck. Just done it again to confirm. Created a directory called RT3 1.06 tes...

Hello readers, Playing RT3 with 1.06 a few days ago when part graphics of the game went peculiar. I viewed the Overview then the Cargo Supply and got white frothy ground with no cargo supply. It ties in with my thoughts. Have reach 1860 and as you mentioned steel has appeared in the north east from a warehouse.
It's just that steel was in the symbols of cargos which made me ask the question.

East Anglia v1a No iron
Dear readers,
After a few years of playing East Anglia v1a (as v1 crashed on saving) I noticed that there is no iron showing. How do I generate steel without iron?
Also some towns have been misspelt. Colcester should be Colchester. Hadleight should be Hadleigh.
So far I'm enjoying the game.
