Test against all territory should allow the AI access anywhere.

After poking around with help from ROR and lots of I think I got it working, but it would be nice to have it looked at.

Re: RRT3 1.05, 106, and Windows Vista... a Fix
Win 10 has an update that destroyed directx somehow. Search for "xaudio2_7.dll crash" Maybe win vista got the same update? Some of my legacy games just kept crashing, or could not start. The solution I used was; move/copy the offending dll out of OS drive. make a copy of a later xaudio fil...

Re: RRT3 1.05, 106, and Windows Vista... a Fix
I have the gog version on windows 10 64 bit, and running fine with disable t&l. Run as Admin set. No other compatibility options. RRt3 also cannot run if the integrated graphics is disabled, I tried it. So I just set the win display settings to run it at high performance - uses the GPU instead. ...

Re: Short engine modding tutorial
The default orca doesnt seem to have an imb file? it does have ne.dds files, a to c. Is there any tool to convert the format? In the car file the default orca has carview2.imb, so I left it the same.

Re: Short engine modding tutorial
I made a clone of the orca, by unpacking the pk4 and renaming all the related files to fit the new engine. It just cannot load the beauty shot, but otherwise appears to work fine.

Re: Speed cap on suspension/bridges
So suspension bridges while looking lovely is not really good for speed. Sometimes its possible to get a stone bridge instead of suspension when crossing long distance over water. Anyone experienced that?

Speed cap on suspension/bridges
Anyone notice this weird occurrence? A loco running on a very long suspension bridge is capped to roughly 81% of its speed. I set a very high pull weight modifier so speed with all loads reach maximum. The e-88 has a top speed of 330, and max speed while on the suspension bridge hovers around 269, 2...

Re: Weird things RT3 does.
The tender has bigger ambitions than just carrying water and coal; it wants to use those things too and grow into a full fledged engine/boiler.

Any value below 100% will work fine. So I guess the poptop maps got it right, its usually a one off 10-20% bonus.

Re: American Civil War
The story takes some liberty with many things... Anyway I tried out this map and choose a pro south course - I like alternate history. Did not build anywhere in the US territory, except what the AI built. Reloaded after the confiscation events - the game actually crashed. Took over rivals after the ...

Re: Temp offset event
I tried deleting all the offset events and the modifiers are still unchanged. So this map is having awfully low raw material cargo prices[after the drounght, strike events], along with everything else - dairy farms in a city, next to many houses, are actually running at loss

Re: New building, existing skin
Or have oil refinery/plastic factory to demand the oil. I notice that oil price is quite cheap when it first appears, then after the houses stop accepting, the price increases across the board. Like from $30 to $90.

Re: New building, existing skin
I'd start by looking up when coal to oil conversion started becoming a commercial proposition. That would give you a good idea of a likely start year for your industry. You may also find that it needs to produce 2 Oil for every 1 Coal o have a useful profit margin in the game. Coal and Oil are very...
