Re: Italy 1946
This is my favorite out of the original scenarios. Nevertheless it isn't "perfect." Florence city placement is problematic. Often there is a cliff incorporated in the town. Some buildings are high and some are low. This is a problem to get rails in and out nicely, or even where to place y...

Re: TexMex
Interesting scenario! Tex-Mex - For Gold - Connect Dallas, San Antonio, Houston, Austin - Ensure your average express speed is 50 mph - Get your personal net worth up to 25 million Connecting Houston with Nogodoches started giving me good money with the OIL and Fuel line. Then connecting San Antonio...

Re: Italy 1946
Played this scenario in September 2021 and really struggled initially. Florence is my favorite Italian city and I wanted to make it work from there! Unfortunately there is nothing much happening in Tuscany in this map, so i had to loose twice. Then I restarted and connected Milan - Verona - Venice. ...

Re: Ireland
I played this scenario in September 2021 after 11 years since i last played RRT3. I realized that - hauling mixed cargo is the way to go, compared to hauling only passengers or hauling only a specific cargo type as i did in RRT2. That is because the economic system is more dynamic in RRT3 and goods ...

Re: RT3 running on Windows 10
Thanks all for the extensive documentation here that enabled me to install RRT3 on Windows 10 in September 2021 :) 1) Ensure you download the 1.0.5 patch and stay updated 2) I did not download the Unofficial 1.0.6 - Worried if some old maps wont work? 3) For 1920*1080 resolution download 2 ZIP files...

Re: Railroad Corporation
I suppose you watched some youtube gameplay? If you are pinching pennies I would do that before buying. And, would again probably recommend playing through the normal campaign in the main game before buying DLC. The actions like laying track, load/unload orders, etc.. are universal in the game. Sli...

Re: Railroad Corporation
I realize you asked Orange46, but I will chime in a little. Railroad Corporation is in my opinion more enjoyable than Railway Empire. Especially for economic strategy. It plays a bit more like RRT2, but it is not as deep. True, there aren't many locos. There is a sort-of-ok AI in some of the maps. ...

Re: Railroad Corporation
I really like this game. Hopefully, it is a work in progress with more to come. I think the designer must have been reading my wishes for RT4 on this site. OK, I am not too far in and expect to discover the gotchas, but at $15.... You can't buy industries, which probably kills it for some. [edit: y...
