Industry proximity to station question
Hi, Been wondering about the placement and location of industry buildings in proximity to the train station, For Example I see a weapons factory that is nearby a town but it's covered by the towns train station, it isn't in the green area when highlighting the station yet it's making crazy amounts o...

Trying to find this map for RRT3
Hi all, I've been really trying hard to find this RRT3 map made from a youtube channel called "Cussan Gaming". He has said anyone wanting a copy of his map can contact him and he would give it to them. Unfortunately I think he no longer does much on his channel and there is no email link o...

Engine Age and does it matter?
Hi everyone, I noticed that while playing RRT2 after awhile the engine maintenace goes to $0 when looking at the history of my trains. Early on in the game (early 1900's) engine maint was always a cost but after a certain year (I can't remember when) the maint goes down drastically. So this leaves m...

Re: North America Map with Canadian Cities
There isn't really a good map spanning the whole of Canada. I'm wondering if you were remembering the RTII one? I mentioned that some maps have a decent amount of USA and Canada on them, just not from one coast to the other. Eastern half: Rainy Days in British North America United Indian Federation...

Re: Player investment and transferring money from PNW to company
Maybe you are not looking at the stock market the way that we do. It's all hinged around margin buying. This is where risk comes in, even though what we are doing is "insider trading." If we buy on margin at the correct time in a fast expanding company we can hit 100% ownership with a deb...

Player investment and transferring money from PNW to company
Hi everyone, I am currently wanting to start company #2 and purchase my original Company #1 as I have a bunch of annoying stock holders that won't go away lol so I figured I could start a second company and do a merger with company #1 to do a total house cleaning. I have plenty of PNW and Company #1...

Retiring Trains all at once
Hi everyone, I was wondering if there was a cheat code or a way that you can retire all trains at once without having to go one by one? I started a rail company and it was booming but as time has gone on the loads are out dated, stations aren't accepting certain cargos anymore etc and I just feel li...

Re: North America Map with Canadian Cities
"Coast to Coast expansion pack" was released by PopTop along with Patch 1.04. This included some new maps, including the namesake: "Coast to Coast." This map has a narrow strip of southern Canada, including the cities you mentioned. Any digital copy of the game should be up to d...

Re: RRT2 Train wrecks
Sadly, I don't think it's possible. If you want breakdowns you need to manage servicing. What you can do is place a lot of small stations (depots) all along your routes. In RTII, a train only has to pass the station to be "serviced." Watch especially for heavy grades where the engines are...

RRT2 Train wrecks
Hi all, So I've been playing RRT2 Platinum and have been loving it again however I notice the train wrecks seem to be really out of control. I had about 100 trains on the scenaro I was playing and was getting 3 to 4 wreck every year. It was driving me crazy. I put cabooses on all my trains, made sur...

Re: North America Map with Canadian Cities
How far south in the USA did it go? From memory, I remember partial maps with a good portion of both Canada and USA, but they don't cover the whole expanse for example they don't go as far west as Alberta, or they don't go too far south in the USA. Yes the map I played didn't cover all of Canada bu...

North America Map with Canadian Cities
Hi All, First off really love that this site exists, I've been a fan of all the RRT series for years. I recently started to play RRT3 again and I use to play a map of North America, It was pretty much like the North America map from RRT2 - Platinum only someone had made it for RRT3. I can't remember...
