Re: Question about logos

I would like to add my FMCRR logo to my database for RRT3 as well, so if there is a "How-to-Do" on it I also would be interested in learning it.

AAR classifications.....

Ok gang, need help with what the classification letters are for a log car, typically I think around a 50 foot flatcar with 4 U shaped cradles used to hold large sized trees after they are cut down to haul to a sawmill. i.e. XM denotes a Boxcar If you got an answer let me know I have looked at all th...

Re: Internet Explorer 7.0 failing

Har, har, har Michael.....Well it's official I made the switch today and I must say that 1 thing I am really happy with is the time it takes to download pages/sites. A little insight as to why I say this is last month I made a move away from Time Warner Cable, who in this rural area is our only choi...

Re: Internet Explorer 7.0 failing

Ok found it, its when I start/reply to a post that IE 8 wants to run in comp view mode, only thing I can think of as to why its even noticing that is maybe because of the smilies??? And how they line up viewed in 7 vs. 8 not sure. Not enough to worry about doing anything in my opinion. I may give Fi...

Re: Internet Explorer 7.0 failing

So far its only been 1 page that I ran across that the IE8 compatability mode dialog box popped up on, so I have been running it on the whole site. I'll have to play around and see if I can get that page (if I can remember which one it was) to pop the box up again. If so I'll get a screenie for you....

Re: Windows 7

I really love the idea of sticking with XP, it may not have all the bells and whistles of Vista but unless your specific applications of an OS require what Vista has, XP has done fantastic. I build computers for myself and family and will never give up my XP Pro disc. When I ordered my laptop for my...

Re: Internet Explorer 7.0 failing

it works fine, just with IE8 some of the menu's are kinda misplaced or not lined up properly, 1 click and into compatability mode and everything straightens out..Guess thats what its designed for. In all honesty this is 1 site that really does fairly well with IE8 not much out of place at all. I dou...

Re: Internet Explorer 7.0 failing

Re: RRT 3 - Trainmaster

I've gotten away from productive work in the last few weeks, though. I need a kick in the rear, I guess. I've got a vista-dome observation car in the works, just a few details to resolve. I got a size 12 attached to the end of my foot if you think that would help any..... !!rofl!! Just let me know!...

I'm running 1.05 on the laptop, haven't tried 1.06 yet because it looks like no one can get it to work, so I have just stuck with the earlier version.

Re: Dishwashing Detergent ban in Washington

Gwizz, I really dont think that dish soap is strong enough to "Cut the Crud" that sometimes flows out of Washington. Something a bit stronger maybe.... Also in the line of chemicals used how about an ingredient used to manufacture Meth, you know the nasty drug that you smoke once and hooke...

Never thought of that one Gwizz, good call since Cincy Northern at least has some resources about it. Being the company that bought them out its surely worth a try.

Re: Anyone with US rail history knowledge

Thanks Wolvy, thats one of the sites that I had already found. It does list the CJ&M as a railroad but of course no link with any information about them. It does however provide a link ro the Cincy Northern who bought up the CJ&M in or about 1896. But still at a dead end for any info on the ...

Anyone with US rail history knowledge

Ok railfans, I have a question for anyone who may have some eastern rail knowledge. I am trying to find some information on a long gone line called the Cincinnati, Jackson and Mackinaw. Best so far I can find is the trackage was completed in or around 1894 and then bought up by the Cincinnati Northe...
