Re: Taurus/Eurosprinter liveries.
I would guess they are wrapped rather than actually painted. It's been common place in stock car auto racing to wrap a car rather than paint it for probably 10-15 years now. I came across this article and it suggests the wraps last around 5 years.... Just in time for that 140 anniversary to now be t...

Re: Endowing hawkdawg?
It is generally good practice to have two admins, or at least a backup person who can get admin when necessary. I know Blackhawk has forum admin here and has had it for yonks, but am not sure how he's placed these days. Sorry... I've been MIA recently. Had some deadlines with work projects and then...

Re: Is RRT3 multiplayer still active/usable?
I thought multiplayer still worked in version 1.05 if you can find someone to play with. Most of us here just play single player though. I don't think 1.06 was built to work in multiplayer.

Re: Municipal buildings: are added demands worthwhile?
It's been a long time since I touched Trainmaster but I thought Ned had all the municipal buildings demanding or producing something. It seemed to create a small demand for some cargoes but it also could create the problem of the municipal building potentially using up that bit of cargo before the i...

Re: Net Neutrality?
For a smaller site like this it probably wouldn't have much of an effect. But the idea behind net neutrality is that the ISP should just be a "dumb pipe" and not know the difference between the data it sends. Without net neutrality, they could regulate the speed of the data they provide. I...

I moved your post from the forum problems to the Trainmaster forum. What was the process you went through to install Trainmaster? It has been awhile since I went through the process of installing Trainmaster, but this thread may be of some help: http://hawkdawg.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=71&t=28...

About the Fertilizer: the notice of "20% higher production" is misleading. It's just text. The mechanisms the game uses behind the scenes of the bca files don't allow a "boost" of any kind. What we have is a 0.2 Fertilizer -> 1 Sugar conversion. The important part is that the va...

Re: Downloadable RT3 manual (original)
Looks like an interesting possibility for a game. One review mentions some aspects of the game that you have to deal with depending on the difficulty you set it at. "In Railway Empire, you will create an elaborate and wide-ranging rail network, purchase over 40 different trains modeled in extra...

Re: Important Notice: Forum Glitch - Website Update!
A little late to the party here, but mediafire should be fine for downloads. The problem with the upload type sites is that you never know how long they will be around for. If you checked in 2012 there may have been several other options like rapidshare and megaupload which are no longer around. It ...

What version of the game is he running? You'll both need to be running the same version.
Also what version of windows are you running the game on? There are forum posts here on how to get the updated patches working on newer versions of windows.

You posted quite a bit in this thread on the locomotives so Lirio's pack may be what you used. viewtopic.php?f=67&t=3441&start=80#p34810

Re: RT3 does not work with windows 10
I imagine the reason for the recent steam posts is that RT3 is included in the latest humblebundle. It's unfortunate that GOG was able to fix the game so it would work without having to make any modifications but Steam won't do that.

Try doing what RulerofRails suggested and see if that works. You may also want to look at the steam forums for the game were people were able to get the steam version working. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=447040518 https://steamcommunity.com/app/7610/discussions/0/535152511...

I'm assuming you installed RT3 to C:\railroad tycoon 3 as well and not something like C:\RT3?
You may also want to try running the Coast to Coast patch as an administrator (right click on it and do run as administrator.)

It sounds like a file is missing. Are you playing this map in 1.06 and not a 1.05 version of the game?
