Re: New Test Map - California High Speed Rail
Thanks again for your responses.
I'll be releasing version T2 (Test 2) of the scenario later today or tomorrow, which will include the second part (Stationmaster) of the map.
I'm thinking this next part will need a lot more refining than the first.

Re: New Test Map - California High Speed Rail
- The After Pringle event - The "Special Conditions" needs to be changed to test against on screen player only - Deal 1 - BSNF should be BNSF Taken care of. - The metrolink event - you have acceleration up 25 levels but call it percent. - THe BNSF event - you have engine reliability up 15...

Re: New Test Map - California High Speed Rail
I'm sorry I didn't see your post until now!
so much for this very detailed review. I hope to get back this afternoon and completely respond to all of your questions/concerns about the map, as I don't have the time at the moment.
Again, thanks!

Edit 1: You're not going to believe this ( well - maybe you will  ), but I already had them both downloaded. The text and rtf files. ^**lylgh *!*!*! I had too - but wanted to find the topic again, as not to re-upload something already here! Glad to be of assistance! :salute:

It just says converting RT3 maps to TM...so I'm expecting 1.05 to be included in that.

Ahh yes. That would help. The industrial supply/demand is really complicated in the modern time period, so I forgot that's possible.nedfumpkin wrote:Hint on this map...buid a meat packing plant to make hides that you exchange at a port for coal.
Anyhow, I'll add one in Southern CA.

Re: New Test Map - California High Speed Rail
The last one, with the "Special Conditions" seems to be troublesome. I'll check that. Make a comment somewhere that players should be familiar with the other RRs since I had no idea which was which when I started getting offers. I think I'll add that to the informational PDF for the next r...

New Test Map - California High Speed Rail (CA10)
Well, I finally got around to starting a Trainmaster map. This "Test Map" (not an official release) focuses on the recent past, present, and future in the state of California. BACKGROUND With California’s highways/freeways jammed and its airports overloaded, it was natural for the state go...

Re: Trainmaster 2.0
All I've seen are just a few typos and a couple houses that have smoke coming off the side (not on the building) of it.
That's basically it, for now.

Re: Trainmaster 2.0
One of the things I have been thinking about is making the end date on all locomotives infinity. This will mean that the scenario writer will have to make the locomotives unavailable by using an event. I like this idea because it will allow greater flexibility in using locomotives since you will be...

Game does not recognize .RAR files
I recently downloaded Trainmaster and experienced some problems with the maps available for download from the H&B Trainmaster map archive. The .GMP map files (such as Monopoly (TM) and TM Persian Electric) and are recognized by the game as playable maps, but .RAR files (such as China Ultimate 2....

Trainmaster - A Success!
I just wanted to say that after finally downloading and installing Trainmaster (and fixing a few self-imposed problems), Trainmaster does look like it's breathing new life into RT3!

Re: Greetings from the Railroad Tycoon Fan Station!
Thanks for the tips (and the welcome), guys. I fixed the dividers to 1200 in width, so you shouldn't experience side-scrolling now. I checked the other pages for side-scrolling, but didn't find any problems with them...so let me know if there's any more problems with the site that I'm not noticing. ...
