Re: Disable territory access in the RRT3 editor
Just to add to what Ned said (and it's been a while since I was in the editor) but remember if you are targeting specific territories to specific companies that the editor recognised companies (and territories) by their number, counting up from the first one created (that would be #1 obvious). This ...

Re: RT3 running on Windows 7
I am getting Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. I do plan to get all the "compatibility" updates and I will make sure the game installs in the Programs (x86) folder. Is there anything else I need to know? This thread is a little confusing, probably because it spans almost 2 years. Tha...

Re: Monkey Motors
It says take x number of motors (autos) to a city but i find no supply of same any place. If I remember correctly - and it's been a while since I even played TM let alone did the scenario - the appearance of the Auto factories are time delayed and will only be on the map once the correct game year ...

Re: RT3 running on Windows 7
Confirmed: AMD Radeon HD5850 also works flawlessly with RRT3 TrainMaster Edition under 64-bit Windows 7. No tricks needed. This is good News because it means that also the more powerful graphics cards are still usable with this game. By 'no tricks needed' Do you mean TM works "out of the box&q...

Re: I'm back (not that you noticed)
I remember you were working on a Channel map in TM. Yes I was, but alas due to "operator error", my back files got corrupted, so I don't have anything I was working on before. However there are some files still in my 'sent' mailbox here on H&BRf that I might be able to do something wi...

Re: I'm back (not that you noticed)
I am right now posting from inside my new house. Still moving in, but my computer came over today and I will be slleping here for the first time tonight. Once things get settled a bit more I am hoping to work on TM stuff very soon. I did wonder where you were, and what you'd been doing, once I got ...

Re: I'm back (not that you noticed)
Thanks for the welcome back guys. Any activities concerning a Hub 4 (for both RT3 and TM)? ^**lylgh As I remember the Hub series ran through the entire time line of Trainmaster anyway so there can't be a part four. At least I hope not as I want to actually play the game for a while to get back used ...

Re: RT3 running on Windows 7
Thanks Hawk, but my Play disc has been cracked for a long time, certainly well before I went away, as I don't remember using before, so there must be a way to get around the programme checking for whatever bit of the disc it checks (something in the middle as that's where the crack is), but never mi...

I'm back (not that you noticed)
I've been gone a while - over six months - not that anyone probably noticed but never mind, I'm back now, with a new Windows7 computer so thanks to Shope for the thread on instructions for getting RT3 running on M$ latest, although I'm going to have to replace my "Play" disc as it's so cra...

Re: RT3 running on Windows 7
Been gone a while for various reasons but am now back with a new Win7 system so thanks for the instructions in this thread RT3 1.06 is running (and looking) great. (not that I've actually played a full map yet!) Shame my game play CD is cracked, meaning that there's a 50/50 chance it won't work, but...

Re: Channel Ferries
You're right stations building should be disabled, but I must have forgotten to turn that back off again. Finding cargo is going to be tricky to start with until the AI's start hauling it around but, as test plays progress I will start hand placing some industry to ensure there will be enough to mov...

Re: Channel Ferries
Progress has been made. All the AI railways have been built in England, France and the Channel Island, although as the latter only had room for a short end-to-end, I also allowed them to build in the Isle of Wight! I've also re-jigged the start up AI rules, to make allowences for just how stupid the...

Re: TM versus RRT3 1.06
I have to admit that from a scenario creator's point of view, the lack of the cement supply chain, was a disappointment when I started working in TM, as for most of my maps, Cement would have been a logical thing to be demanded. However, I do like the farm structure the way Ned has it, and feel that...

Re: Channel Ferries
Yes I know it's been a while but I've been very lacking in train time recently.
Hopefully this map will now be able to continue using all the suggestions given above.... oh wait!

Welcome Jonlar, and can I be the first to mention TrainMaster to you.
(well someone always does in these newbie threads - I think Ned gives out a prize!)
