Hi LWVRR1964 - Please check out the game play on the map and let me know if I need to make some changes before I start creating senarios for it. Just spent a couple of hours with your neat Wyoming Valley map :D Nicely painted! Very enjoyable, and easy to lay track. Playing in expert mode, with no sc...

Hi LWVRR1964 - The first senario deals with the rise and fall of the hard coal industry of the area. I'll be using real names and events on the map. Can't wait to try it out! I'll admit that I downloaded your Wyoming Valley map for SMR, but never played it because I was tired & bored with playin...

and removing weapons and ammo from the Pacific Coast port. Yeah, with only ammo/weapons in the Atlantic port, there's almost no way you can get the 5 ammos & 5 weapons to San Salvador in time. Getting the loads to Honduras wasn't a problem. Shuffling troops between stations in Hondorus made the...

Guatamala Revised

Hey Lama - What on earth did you do to make Guatamala so darned hard??? I remember beta testing this scenario last year, and managed to win the gold at least once on expert. I've just tried it again, and couldn't even get to 2nd base. The cost of laying track -- especially on grades -- seems to be w...

Hey Hawk -

I just tried downloading Brasil.RAR from your site, and the RAR file was corrupt. Could you find another copy for downloading??

I haven't played this scenario for over a year, but I remember that I played it two or three times on expert and found it way too easy. I Forget the actual winning scores, but the scenario seemed to be a cake-walk. The AIs weren't very aggressive, and disappeared the minute you beat them in yearly h...

Hi Overland - I'm open to feedback everyone, so let me know what you think. Very challenging start. On my first attempt, I bought one of the lumber mills for $900 -- had to sell one share of stock to come up with the $900. Anyway, the mill made mediocre profits ($125-$150 or so), but not enough to c...

I see why it's named Sink Hole Island: Sink Hole City is invisible.
But I connected to Sink Hole City, even though I couldn't see it, and couldn't even see my station or trains -- but it hauled well, and I'm sure it contributed to my 700 required loads.

Let me know what you think about visitor friendliness and ease of use and appearance.
You've got my vote! Really nice page. I've had a little trouble finding the maps that you used to have in your old archive, but have managed to find a few.

Isola Nova

It took the better part of a day, but I just now managed a gold win on this diabolical map in expert. On my first attempt, I figured -- what the heck, I'm an expert after all -- I'll just take over the other 20 companies and win the gold in a hurry. Well, 16 years into the scenario and I had taken o...

Northwestern Pacific

Hi Rat, Lama - Just finished NWP. Got all gold for goods, lumber and paper, but screwed up in the later years not routing passenger trains out of SF soon enough. Missed Silver by four loads. Managed to get gold just now on expert, after two false starts. I reasoned that I would need at least some ki...

The new revision will be up soon so please be patient. :D Thanks for a very exciting and challenging scenario. I managed to win the gold on expert, after two short-term false starts during which I figured out what was necessary in the early game. On my winning run, as on the two false starts, I bou...

I finally finished this one on gold/expert a couple of years ago -- on about the 3rd try. It's been so long ago that I forget the actual strategy. I did find that industry doesn't pay in this scenario, especially raw materials (which actually lose money from the get-go, no matter which raw material ...

The main thing I liked about RRT2 vs RRT3 was that you could build tracks exactly as you wanted -- double, triple tracks with numerous x'overs. With RRT3 the track-laying is "sticky" (i.e., the track wants to immediately join to a nearby track), so it is nearly impossible to lay double tra...

Well, I guess I'm a newbie again, ****** it! I had worked up to Engineer - or some such - on The Gathering, and on the original HBRR forum. Oh well  Thanks for getting me registered, Hawk. I'm glad to know that the 6,927 hits you found when you googled me didn't cause any alarm. -- C...
