When i click to download the bottom file z-ENG-New Zealand i seem to be getting a file called rt3_intro instead.

If you're trying to play a 1.05 or 1.06 map in TM it's not going to work right. Only TM maps should be played in TM. ;-) Most of us have 2 or 3 installs of RT3.
