China Ultimate map v 1.0

This is a *very* big and detailed map with more than 170 towns and so many trees etc that it's a lumberjack's dream... And a nightmare for an underpowered computer, I guess. All the towns and cities have realistic businesses and also the resources are in their more or less correct places. So, findin...

Finland greets railroad fans!

Hi all, I'm Tommi from Vantaa, a place close to Helsinki, Finland. Trains have been my long-time interest, and I'm a member of Jokioinen Museum Railroad (several narrow-track steam engines running) + a supporting member of Haapamäki Steam Park where there are dozens of old steam and diesel engines, ...

Re: Graphics Aren't up to their Settings

Also getting this, the graphics would look great on start-up for a couple of seconds then they revert to the low-detail textures. I think it is coming from the newer graphics card since the information that comes up when you press ctrl-5 shows that my graphics card (ati radeon 4650) has an error wi...

Re: Grafic problems with win 7 and rt3

Sounds very familiar. I have both Win XP SP3 and Win 7-64 with RRT3 1.06 installed, and the game behaves differently in these operating systems. Although it looks rather ugly in closest zoom modes under Win 7, I haven't found that too annoying, since otherwise it looks and works very nice for most o...

Re: How many trains can RRT3 take without slowing down graphics?

I have seen more than 250 trains on a very large and complex scenario without any slowdown. So, I suppose that RRT3 scales pretty well with the computing power in that aspect.

RRT3 1.06 working on 64 bit Windows 7

To my eternal surprise, this actually works... mostly. So: Windows 7-64 *does* work on my current setup with RRT3 1.06. The only real problem is that some textures (like wheat or anything like that looked from very close zoom distance) don't behave like they should. They look coarse and ugly. But be...
