Re: Australian steam locos
That is some truly exceptional research you've done there! It's really incredibly exciting to think that the game really could get a Garrat! Or two, if doubleheading works as planned. The real question is: Do we need 4 sets of drivers on an 8 car train?

Re: Permission requirements for patching RT3 to 1.03
I have Windows 7, so doesn't that make me have to go through the complicated process of installing 1.03, changing a graphics setting, then adding 1.04? I remember having huge problems with that which made me rip my hair out (almost). I'll try again today and see how it works. Edit: I got it! This ti...

Permission requirements for patching RT3 to 1.03
I'm trying to reinstall RT3 because I have a new computer, but it won't let me patch to 1.03. I saved RT3 to a folder on my desktop because of poor experiences with it saved to Program files, but now it won't let me unzip the patch. When I run the patch program as an admin, it says it can't create t...

Re: AI magic credit.
It is happening! And yet, even though the game will do all that, it still won't let AI companies merge. I guess it's alright as long as it's not realistic.

Re: Double tracking bug ... RT3 V1.06
This has always happened for me, but only when I double track a section with a train running on it. If it's paused, and I exit the track menu then unpause, it continues at its previous speed. If I don't pause or exit the track menu first, then the train is considered stopped and will have to start b...

Re: Wemyss Private railway
Modding locomotives on RRT3 seems to be something reserved for the elite few. I've asked a couple times if anyone who knows how to could teach me a little, but gotten no response. It is possible though, and there are a select few locomotives which are genuinely excellent in detail. Apparently, it ha...

Re: Balance and realism issues with RT3 v1.06 locomotives
Overall, my use of the camelback has been limited to shuttling cars between St. Paul and Minneapolis stations on one scenario. Ever. It certainly needs something done.

Re: The Pacific Coast Railroad
The information you posted sounds very similar to my studies of the Altoona & Beech Creek Railroad (yes, I spelled it differently in my username.) Is this railroad a local gem for you, and that's why it peeked your interest? A&BC was also a narrow-gauge shortline based in my hometown. I thin...

Re: Steam Train Rides
BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE! IF YOU CALL NOW... Norfolk Southern is ALSO offering rides behind steam locomotive 765 in the northern area, namely, ALTOONA to Lewistown via HORSESHOE CURVE! I can't even BEGIN to comprehend how expensive those will be! Think about it! It's everything I've ever wanted, there...

Re: Bugs in extreme conditions
I remember when one of my GG1's "teleported" to a random location far from HSR route I was building between Milwaukee & Chicago on the map "West from Chicago." What a headache that was! I can't even remember what I did to fix it, it was a while ago. But, if that's really the ...

Re: One Korea - Beta
I played this scenario a while back, and I got a lot of enjoyment from it. Think I got bronze on Normal. It inspired me to make a spin-off map of what may happen in a not-so-perfect-world, but since I suck at doing stuff, it never came to fruition. But thanks anyway for the great map!

Re: Re-skinning for beginners (that's me)
Those look great! Far better than anything I could do. I really, really, really want to learn how to do this stuff, because I have so many ideas. It's just so complicated though. Tech things really isn't my area of expertise. Maybe I could get my friend Byron to help get some of my projects started ...
