Re: New Buildings
I unoerstand. I was wondering: If you place the individual files in a seperate folder within the UEC folder, does that work? Or will the game not reach into the folder? I ask this because it works in other games, but not all.

Re: New Buildings
This reminds me a lot of my last foray into the modding world- in the Blitzkreig game. Very similar. In it, you have to repackage unit graphics files into "PAK" files to insert them into the game. I wonder if I could lure some of the geniuses from that world over to the RRT3 universe ? hmm...

Re: Steam Lives!
I heard about steam turbine/ electric locomotive experiments that I believe were in the 1950's. With the long startup and shut down times they would probably only be practical in longer runs.

Re: Beta test map - West San Diego County
When counting down the row of warehouses or ports in the editor to find the one you want to use , remember that the first one(#1) is above the bulk of them (in alphabetical order), and the long "list" of ports and warehouses towards the bottom of the buildings list actually starts with por...

Re: Best Placement of service towers and maintenance sheds.
I liked the option to "build in" maintenance facilities to stationsin one of the Michigan scenarios (setting oil, water and sand usage -%100and increasing load/unload time to simulate servicing) . The point about gridlock is a good one Coru, when possible, I like to have a "hub" ...

Re: Best Placement of service towers and maintenance sheds.
Near but not against the station seems to be the ticket. There is a bug that makes trains crawl slowly if the sheds are pushed together. Putting them in the middle (like the AI's) is the slowest option because you have to stop and accelerate twice between stations.

Re: Coru's game mods (and questions!)
I think ALL industries should demand passengers. After all, factories , mines, or farms dont produce anything without employees. I like the ideas I have been reading about your new buildings Cor, they are a fresh twist to this game. Sprucing up retail stores- etc is great and I personally would like...

Re: An Industry Idea
The more complex economy model created with the new cargo types in 1.06 is great. I do however see 1 giant glaring ommission : RAILS! This is a railroad game after all , isnt it? I see some scenarios that use "goods" as a substitute for "rails" but this is a poor band aid(steel w...

New Buildings
Hi all, I just downloaded the new buildings by WPP and Coruscate (waiting to d/l new RAR extractor for the latter) and i have a question. The Grain Elevator has the "normal" 3 files (BTY BCA and PK4) which I understand how to install. The Cereal Company However, has BCA BTY, and then a ple...
