Re: Offset Maintenance Shed
They could be just decoration since when you run rails through somebody's grain field, the production of that farm doesn't change.

Re: Texture Trouble
I got the effect thietavu was talking about when I upgraded my W7-workstation's memory from 4G to 8G. RT3 graphics are now crisp.

RRT3 on virtual XP (host W7 Pro 64)
I'm trying to install RRT3 on an XP virtual machine that runs within my W7. Installation was fine, but I made the mistake of not installing directx 8.1. However, directx 9 installed, but direct 3d is missing. The virtual machine says it's display adapter is integration features S3 Trio. Any idea how...

Re: RT3 running on Windows 7
Sadly, that's not the case for me. I still get pixellation. At first when I zoom in the graphics are sharp but immediately turn fuzzy and stay that way. Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, Radeon HD5670. Could it be an issue that I run RT3 in a window?

IIRC, bulldozing an industry costs the same as founding a new one of the same kind.

Re: The U.K.T.M. Project
Took a few days off to relax for my birthday there on thursday, needed to chill with the future Mr's, she's so tolerant of my geeky behaviour, especially when at her home her dad has one of the largest collections of model railway layouts in the area (he runs exhibitions locally), I have been tryin...

Re: Isola Nova
I'm proud of myself ::!**! . Last game, I fell some loads short of bronze, now I got silver with a couple of years to spare. There were only 3 years to go when I got silver, and financially no chance to go for gold, so I let the game roll to the end on neutral. One of the secrets of success was unco...

Re: Isola Nova
Took a little sightseeing tour on this map and it appears interesting. What I found out is that you cannot get up to speed fast enough by just buying off the little fries. However, I did find that my usual strategy to check the commodities map before selecting startpoint worked again.

Re: Changing game resolution
I'm running an HD 5670 and I've had no problems. Like I said earlier, I like to run RT3 in a window because of my widescreen monitor.

Re: Changing game resolution
Actually I would like to know that too. On the other hand, I like playing my games in a window. It's easier to check irc and facebook and such things while I play. A 21.5" monitor gives a good deal of screen real estate.
