Installing RRT2 on Windows 7 64 bit? Unread post

When I try to install from the disk I get a message saying the install can't run on a 64 bit system.
How can I install RRT2 on Windows 7 64 bit?

A few things from a quick google search:

Option 1: http://forum.dune2k.com/topic/26394-rt- ... ows-vista/ I'm not sure how active the Terminal is anymore but they were more active in RT2 vs this forum which was more active in RT3)

Option 2: It seems to be the setup file that won't run in 64 bit, if you can install all the files on another computer, then just copy those files onto an external hard drive/usb and put them on your 64bit computer it should still work.

Option 3: If you feel like buying the game again, apparently the Steam version of RT2 works on 64bit.

This fix isn't necessary for certain versions...

Replace your installer with one of these, depending on what works.

I still need to figure out how to put one of these on a CD with it replacing the default Setup file.
