Have no idea. I got this picture from some friends in Colorado. I would think that they were probably renumbered. Just too much coincidence.

According to a website i found "Amtrak P42 Photos By Engine Number" http://www.4rr.com/33/photos_001.htm, Both 44 & 120 are actual numbers in the fleet.

Well, after all, it is the president of the United States. What if one engine failed in say, Podunk, Kansas or Stink Creek, Texas, as they tool across the country?

I was watching a special on Air Force One, and they have TWO planes at all times, in case one fails.

All kidding aside, I saw that too. The second one was a decoy, wasn't it? It was also for back-up, but it flew at the same time as Air Force One, but took a different route, if'n I remember right.
