Global Warming believers don't read this

My Lady has the sheepskin in the family. Back when she was studying climate science (pre-Global Warming) her professors explained to her that if you kick the global temperature too far either way it triggers an ice age and the system resets. That is what keeps the temperature in the narrow band that allows us humans to survive.
I noted recently some folks using the melting of the Alpine glaciers as proof of global warming. IIRC those glaciers formed within recorded history. When the climate cooled off back in the Middle Ages, the glaciers advanced down the mountains and swallowed entire villages. Greenland was, indeed, green, and Iceland was more habitable than today.

My opinion is that the weather is going to get warmer- and colder. Sea levels are going to rise- and fall. Areas that are liveable now will become desert- and deserts will bloom. This will lead to serious volatility in the global real estate market over the next 1,000 years. We humans, being vicious, omnivorous, and resourceful, have survived ice ages and global droughts before, without irrigation or electricity or central heat or greenhouses. We can do so again, if necessary.

I heard this morning that the Gores Documentary used a computer simulation of an ice shelf breaking off of one of the ice packs at one of the poles. This action was created for a movie on a computer.

In the UK his documentation was put into the schools. This action was taken to court and the documentary was found to be full of errors and falsifications. The judge order the documentary removed from schools.

And he won a Nobel money prized for this documentary trash.

It is an interesting video that points out Gore's mistakes with discernible proofs.

Some of the other videos are pro-global warming but offer no discernible proofs.

Hawk if you want to see this video, then you may want to download save2pc. If you want WMV format then you have to buy either the Std or Pro versions, otherwise the Light version is fine.

Thanks for that link but I don't use Windows Media Player. I play videos on either Irfanview or FLV player. Will that utility work on either one of them?

Save2pc is only a program to download videos, it doesn't actually have any contact with the player you use.
It supports AVI; MPEG; FLV and (in the purchased version) WMV, so you can choose in which format you download the video. As Irfanview can read AVI & MPEG files anything downloaded in these formats should play on it. Those in FLV format should play on FLV player.

BTW I don't use Windows Media Player either (does anyone?). I use CrystalPlayer Pro and/or Media Player Classic (preferably CPP).
