Why laying rail is so expensive?
Proud to regret for what I did and not for what I should have done.
Re: Why laying rail is so expensive?
Actually it's probably less expensive to lay rail with that equipment when you consider salaries, benefits, and time.

Excellent video. I am impressed with thr ingenuity of the purpose-built equipment.
Re: Why laying rail is so expensive?
I have seen similar equipment right here on the CSX W&A Sub in Georgia - USA.
'Course I believe it was German equipment, or from some country over in Europe.

To me, it looks like French machinery. They probably work somewhere in Europe, but that's just a personal assumption.
