Darkening scenario Unread post

Having a little problem with this scenario. A player, or at least I have not been able to find the solution, to be able to purchase any amenities. So, naturally, after a few years, the engine is near stalled, due to the lack of water and/or sand. Every avenue of normal operation is "not available in this scenario" statement.

Any suggestions

I can tell from the title who the author of this scenario is. Not one I have played btw.

I guess there are 4 solutions I can think of for the lack of sand and water (and oil I assume):

1. Don't bother playing it.
2. Go into the editor and remove the restrictions.
3. Replace the engines once they become a burden.
4. Resign from your company over a month-end and the AI will service the engines.

Thanks Loco-motive for the suggestions.

Not knowing the manipulations of the editor I will just take your no.1 suggestion, and don't play the scenario. Wish the problems were corrected by the creator, as it has a lot of challenges.

I may have done the author a disservice here so I'll give him a plug. James Stevens still runs Express World afaik.

Not playing is always an option, even on one of mine, lol.

You should take a look at the editor and pull open its various menus. Its very easy to use.
