The Pacific Coast Railroad

Hi everyone! For all of those who are living in central California, I have a general question: does anyone know anything about the Pacific Coast Railroad? All I have found out so far is that it was a narrow gauge railroad that ran from Avila Beach to San Luis Obispo in the late 1800s.

I'm looking for more background about it, and starting to think about a scenario for RT3!

The information you posted sounds very similar to my studies of the Altoona & Beech Creek Railroad (yes, I spelled it differently in my username.) Is this railroad a local gem for you, and that's why it peeked your interest? A&BC was also a narrow-gauge shortline based in my hometown. I think I could get interested in this PCRR simply because I like the coastal setting it's in very much. When I can, I plan on taking a trip out to California and Washington to see the two extremes of coastal railroading. Good luck on your quest for information!
