As such information helps us to try and keep abreast of the times when steam was "king". And especially the Roanoke & Western. Maybe it was the most powerful, but I believe it in par with the J? Hudson, as being one of the most "beautiful" construction of design. My son leans toward the Hudson, but I don't belittle the J611. It just depends on a persons "likes and dislikes". However, I put the on the same level for their performance".
In Colo.Spgs, there is a steam engine on display at the Train Museum. It was to be dismantled to the point to display it for a celebration last week Sept 20-26th. Supposedly it is a replica as to that which is being used on a train tour, Cambres & "something". I didn't know about the Cambres train tour until last week, when it was on a TV ad. Will have to start checking, so as to update "that which I have forgotten".
And that web site you have enclosed, also has a number of interesting topics of which a person can watch.
