I understood that maps could be uploaded to the board as an attachment to a message. I want to contribute one I've made, but after doing the upload a message said .gmp files are not allowed and it closed my session - even the message I was writing to accompany it.
So, how do I send my stuff?

Use WinZip to compress the gmp and zip it up. Then it can be attached to a post. There is a 10 MB size limit on zip attachments.
If you then want it added to the archive at my site just say so. Attaching it to a post only makes it available to the few members that frequent the forums.
