I notice you can even toggle the tiny button in the bottom-left corner with a <Shift><Tab>, so I would've thought there would be an option to toggle messages too ... but hell, I can't find it!

Is it possible to toggle onscreen messages ...?
I'm referring to the running log in the top-left corner of trains arriving / broken down etc ... sometimes I like to just sit back and follow a train for a while, with no onscreen clutter
